Travel: Taiwan Part II

We met Min on the 3rd (i think) and we went to Presidential Building which was pretty close to where we stayed. Joined the tour and understand a little bit more about Taiwan's history.

After which we went to Chiang Kai Shek Memorial before heading off to Wu Fen Pu! Yes! SHOPPING!!!

Min recommended 胡须张卤肉饭 and said we have to try and so we did. It was really nice! The usual 卤肉饭 that you get from the street stall are those cheapo with on a few mince meat. But this is really real chunks of meat we can bite into.

Poor Raymond had to wait for us girls to shop for 2 hours before we decide to head over to 公馆 to have the Kong Ba Bao that Min had been raving about. What a foodie day it was. The 蓝家割包 was really awesome! I would suggest for you to order the one with fatty meat because it's tastier. I thought i had too much for one day so I ordered with lean meat and it wasn't as nice.

It was tiring to walk more so we went to a café to have dessert and rest before we took the train back to our hotel.

Min left that night and the next day we went to Hello Kitty Sweets!

I passed by the shop twice I was there but never got to go in! So, I got Ray (best companion in the world) to join me and he agreed. Oh mannn! I love the whole shop.

I recalled a man sitting beside us having difficulty getting some mayonnaise. I felt so bad for him because he is obviously not Chinese but the waitress couldn't understand English. I could've helped him but I just couldn't remember the chinese term for mayonnaise until 10 mins later. So, too bad. I guess I haven't been using Chinese enough to remember the terms that I rarely use.

There's a minimum spending per person but I guess if you're going there to have dessert, it's not difficult to hit the minimum. We only had desserts and they were awesome. Ok, I don't know if I was feeling really shiok (because of the designs) or the food was really that good. But the experience was definitely cool so give it a try if you're a fan of Hello Kitty or simple fan of cute things. You'll love it.

We walked around the area for a bit and we saw 白歆惠 at an event right outside SOGO. Ok, R didn't know who she was. I was the one who spotted her and I asked R to take a photo of her. Gosh she looks gorgeous in real life. But we didn't stay for long, we left right after we took the picture...yeahh I'm not that interested in her though she's pretty

Next, may I present to you the best Barbeque we had in Taipei or maybe even Singapore. AWESOME Service!!! AWESOME Food!
We were really quite daebak! Both of us were feeling like we're falling sick but we still went for this bbq because it's so near to our hotel. It's buffet style so you can order as much as you want. There's free flow beer too but we didn't know until we left. :(

I was too lazy to take photo for the rest of the days. Feeling sick and lazy. Haha. Just wanted to enjoy the experience because I come back to Sg and get sucked into work again.
