Venice, Italy Day 8

Last full day in Venice didn't start well. We wanted to go have breakfast that's by the water but I didn't know that it was inside a hotel so I thought I couldn't find it. By the time I realised, they were already closing for afternoon break. 😥

So we decided that we should just take the vaporetto tour on Rick Steve's audio guide since we bought a 72h pass for the ride.

The tour was supposed to be 1.5h long but I think it probably lasted for about 45 mins. It was freaking cold with the wind blowing at around 1°C temp. So these photos were take while my hand was freezing in the cold. Haha.

Some parts of the building were flooded so the people actually had to abandon the lower floor once it's flooded. Climate change is really very real when you see these buildings level one filled with water.

We saw this really cool structure but Rick did not tell us about it so I know nothing. Lol

If I never remember wrongly, this is rialto and is the only area that has walking path by the water because that was where people used to unload their cargo and do trading in the past.

It got quite gloomy later and really cold throughout the day.

Last shot on the vaporetto before we went to do some last minute shopping.

Our lunch was at a restaurant which paid for an ad on tripadvisor so it kept popping out whenever we look for places to it.

I gave it a chance since they paid so much for the ad. Hahaha

Overordered yet again, oh well, we never learn.

Both of us were not feeling that well on the last day and by the time I got to this dinner place, I felt like I was on a boat, very dizzy.
