CNY: 2013

CNY is over and I had so much fun this year, mostly because my dearest is back:) But I lost a lot of money this year too :( It's ok. It's only once in a year. 

CNY Day 1 is always the same. Visit my grandma house first then to R's house. When I was younger, CNY Day 2 will always be at my paternal family's place. It has changed these few years.... :(

In any case, it was fun to hang out with R so much.

This is my makeup for Day 1. Soft and nude makeup.

I'm really loving my Urban Decay Naked palette. You can get all sorts of looks with just one palette :) AWESOME!

Red and white polkadots nails for this year CNY and R helped to do my right hand after I was done with my left. Thanks!

CNY Day 1 was coincidentally my Mom's birthday as well. We headed to Vivo City's Marche for dinner. It was a cosy dinner. Just the 4 of us. 

CNY Day 2! Tried to pull off a faux bob style 1 - curly.

Faux bob style 2. Which one do you prefer? I liked the first one as it's more romantic and stylish but it also made me look older. The latter is more girl-next-door feel and it's easier to create.

Visit my family friend on Day 2 and here's a new member to their family, Ethan! 

He was only 5 days old then. I was so nervous when I was holding him in my arms. He's so small, tiny and fragile. I felt like I would break him easily. 

Then on Day 7, I went out to have brunch with R and his family. We had dim sum at Causeway point Crystal Jade. It was actually very tiring that day because we had Poker/21 night with my secondary school friends at R's place until about 4-5am. CRAZYYY!

Went to shop around CWP and took a photo at Uniqlo. Look at that tummy!

Day 15 at my uncle's place with my paternal family.

Ashton - The Huai Dan Boy Boy. He was so active and naughty, ran around knocking into people and even made Vivian cry. But he is definitely the most sociable and outgoing baby/toddler there!

It was so hard to get him to stay still so we had to hold him down very tightly.

Cousins shot. I would very much like to say we are the youngest in the family for our generation but Miss Lai - The Ashton MAMA is not that young anymore. AHAH! Oh! We'll be having a new nephew this coming September! CONGRATS QX!

We took 3 consecutive photos with timer and throughout the 3 shots, Ashton did not change his expression. HAHA!

This photo was really spontaneous. I didn't know my sister was doing the same as me. Kudos!

After about 15 shots we wanted to stop but Ashton kept pestering me to take more so my sister and cousin entertained him while I just clicked the camera. HOHO!
