Breakfast with BFF :D

Met up with Yushan for breakfast at Northpoint's Swensens yesterday. We meant to meet up weeks before but I was tied down by exams and all the other bullshit that comes along with it. So, yada-yada, we met yesterday like finally. I had my usual Creamy Scrambled Eggs :))

I recall having a conversation with YM and gang awhile back at the airport regarding whether there can be platonic friendship between the opposite gender. We had a mini-debate as YM thinks there isn't and I beg to differ. To me, there are certain people in my life that I met who turned out to be really great friends. I don't see them that way, if you get what I mean. I see them as my friend, as my brother. One of them is definitely Yushan. I knew him when I was in JC1. We were classmates. We weren't that close to start with since I had a secondary school friend, JiaHon, in the same class. (JiaHon is another dear friend of mine who will never be seen in that way. Really good friends). We got closer nearer to the end of JC1 and became good friends in JC2 since my class became so small after so many of them retained. 

The thing is, right from the start, it had already been this true friendship that I hope I can have for the rest of my life. Great friends are hard to come by these days. I'm lucky to have found quite a few of them, especially after I entered NUS. I feel really fortunate to have found friends like delvin, yiangmeng, yanting, tianhon, hasan, yiting and mingyi to name a few. Ok, they're already the closest I have in NUS. lol 

Ya, so the point is, I think that platonic friendship do exist. 

 ME:) Raymond's friends from USA/NOC/whatever, IDK, asked why I like to take photos of myself. No special reason, I just like it like that. If I don't take when I'm still young and wrinkle-free, when else would be the best time? Wait till I'm old and full of wrinkles? tsk tsk tsk. I do what I like to do. Why should you judge? Don't like, don't look at my facebook la. No one is forcing you. ok, getting a bit angst. In my defense, it's 2am now. Lack of sleep = Angsty. ok la, i get angry easily. happy? hahahha

 That aside, the breakfast was a happy one:) it came with tea/coffee and juice!

 They changed the way they serve the tomato. I prefer the old one better. 

My birthday present from Yushan :))

First set of OPI nail polish. It has always been out of my budget. Just not willing to spend so much on something that I can't even put on my right fingernails properly with my left hand. I know, I need prac. 

On a side note, baby was so happy to meet his idol! hahahaha!!!!!!! then again, can't wait to join him in the states. 8/6/12 come quickly!
