wishes do come true

Here I am, writing in this tiny space again after almost 7 months. Time really flies. I am 21 years and 2 months old already.

I just had my 21st party recently and also went to Taiwan. In between all these were studies, events, examinations and transfer to FASS. I am a very lucky person. I managed to transfer to FASS this semester finally and also I have a lot of help from many great people.

On my 21st birthday, I made a wish.

A wish that I had hoped for since 2009. A transfer to FASS from FoS. I tried in year 2 sem 1 but failed. It was a very bad feeling. It made me want to quit school. But after some considerations and also due to the stubborn character of mine, I decided to stay on another year to try one last time. I told myself that this would be the last time and if I fail again, I will withdraw from FASS.

Last week, my wish came true.

Many thanks to whoever helped this happen. I am really grateful. I really needed this. If not, like everyone else said, everything would be wasted. I can't afford it. When I went to Taiwan, I went to quite a few temples. I made the same wish, requested the same thing from all the different Gods and Goddesses I pray to. I guess it worked. The first temple I went was龙山寺, I prayed to all the Gods there. It was a beautiful temple.

The next temple we went was 孔庙. Of course right? For studies, you definitely have to visit 孔庙 (Confucius). It was sort of under renovation then but my sissy and I sort of hit the big bell which they say we can make our wish there.

因为没得上香，我只好双手合十，诚心地祷告。我告诉孔夫子我的愿望，告诉他我真的很努力了。希望他能让我的愿望实现。很感恩，我小小的愿望真的实现了。

Lastly, we went to 宝安宫. The most disappointing one. Not the temple but my experience there. 我求了一支签，宝安公让我留在宝安公让我留在原来的地方。那是一支下下签。

Nonetheless, I still transferred. I was also accepted to study at NIE for a Bachelor in History. The interview was brief and easy. The offer by MOE is really tempting. But, if I continue in NUS, I can finish everything faster. So, that's what I'm going to do.

Life goes on no matter what. I am still continuing my make-up classes:) Made a lot of improvements and I'm happy to say I really love this. I love seeing the happy faces on couples during photo-shoots. The smiles on those lovely women when they came to become pretty for an event or for their special someone.

I have been using my mother and sister as practice but my sister refused violently when I wanted to take a before photo. This is my mother. HAHA. She was forced by me last minute to do it. Pardon her ugly top. LOL.

Then, just this monday, I took my sister to my make-up lesson with me to be my model. :) The first photo of her hair! The flower belong to my teacher. But the rest was done by me alone! Yeah..

Her left side profile. Okay, to be honest I took quite a while to do it. My teacher was looking and hence, I was quite nervous. HAHA.
