It is official. The centre is sold.

I've got very mixed feelings about this but I think it is for the better. Time for me to take a break, to rest and recharge. I cannot even remember when is the last time I was not a tutor. Maybe 10 years ago.

Time to plan my travels for 2018! Hooray! 🎊 🎉

These are some of the #calligraphy diy I'm doing for my wedding. I already used this wooden board for NZ and will be reusing it for Sg.

I bought this board from daiso and wrote our wedding hashtag back in early Nov. This took me quite a while because I thought I could skip sanding the wood but I was wrong. It was so rough and the paint could get on easily.

Lesson learnt: always sand the wood first. Don't be lazy.

I was initially only practising my watercolour calligraphy and since I was in the wedding mood 😍, all the stuff I wrote was related to wedding one way or another.

So, I decided that I'm going to use these as my Diy guest book. But R was asking me ytd if I'm OK with the guests writing on my calligraphy....

He said that if I don't want, I should indicate somewhere that they should write behind. But if I write it there, will the guests see? Putting a post it makes it ugly as well.

I'm going to use twine to bind them together after I'm done. Idk how many more pages I need. I'm more or less there already.

Any suggestions? Do people still write in guest books?

It'll be quite fun to see what some of my friends will write.

Any other quotes that I should write? Some of them here are quite fail but doesn't matter lah. 10 years later, we can compare and see my improvements. Haha

I wanted to go for a foiling workshop but got too busy to go for it. Haiz. 😧

The lone flower looks very sad but I'm not confident to draw more. Lol. 😂

Ohh, I'm also intending to have a confetti bar after seeing some photos on pinterest/insta, can't remember which one. This means that I have to go buy some real flowers. I already bought some real confetti from Qoo10 along with fake flower petals. Will set it up near the solemnisation area for the guests to make their own confetti bag. 

I hope this will be fun or at least photo worthy. Haha

 Damn angry at some guests. 

This particular relative of R, his Uncle’s wife, invited her own relatives (sister, brother, sister-in-law, brother-in-law) without consulting us when we first sent out a what’s app invite. Initially, I was shocked because I didn’t even let my own mother invite her extended relatives and this Aunt-in-law just invited her siblings? Like what? Ok fine, you want to invite without asking us and we still had seats back then we felt that it was ok. On hindsight, I should’ve made a lot of noise

and forced R to remove these people because we don’t even know them and they’re not even related to the immediate family directly.

Earlier this month/late last month, we started sending out the meal preference survey which they filled up. Yesterday, 1 week before the wedding, they texted us saying that 1 of them is hospitalized so all of them cannot come. Wtf! Really is WTF!

My blood pressure almost shot out of the roof. Luckily I just attended 2h of crazy workout class and haven’t had dinner so my energy was damn low.

So to fellow #dayrebrides, if this kind of thing happen to you too, ask you fiancé to stop this kind of bs. Don’t go invite people whom you don’t even know because they couldn’t care less about your wedding, your budget, your seating etc. Mind you, even some of your own friends don’t give a crap and cancel on you last minute with ridiculous reasons

that you cannot even imagine. Sometimes, you really have to give to them for their creativity. Ok, enough of ranting. Wedding planning sucks for the most part.

Maybe that person is seriously ill. Idk. But really giving us problems. So initially our per pax was 160++ but with these idiots dropping out last minute one by one, I think the per pax rate is going to go up to at least 180++.

People keep thinking that restaurant is cheaper than hotels. Please. Maybe Chinese restaurants are cheaper but western restaurants are definitely not.

Just have to 看开一点, @orezenonat already warned us that confirm will lose money. I just hope we don't lose too much.

R just asked me if I want him to go on a travel case to Australia next year and it's gg to be at least 5 months.

Because I get to go too! Woo!

After a 3h jam, we finally made it to jb. These impromptu trips are making buying the car very worthwhile. R is doing his shopping while I do my hair treatment.

We also bumped into our friends at KSL. The world is so small.
