Raymond's brother is finally married! Their ROM actually happened the week before but I was too busy to dayre it. It was held at The White Rabbit 🐰 

Everything went smoothly except for the rain. The couple wanted to have the ceremony in the garden beside the rabbit hole but it started pouring so we had to shift things indoor. 

Ray was in white and grey and blended in with the waiters so well. 😂 lucky he brought a jacket otherwise I would've ordered coffee from him.

The ceremony went a little too fast for my liking. I'm not the bride so I shouldn't care. It's just me making mental notes now. 

1. March in shouldn't be too slow but it shouldn't be 3 seconds as well. I should prac walking in with my mom and make sure I get the timing right. 

2. The couple should at least coordinate their vow length. One should not be significantly shorter than the other. It just feels like the latter didn't give a shit.

3. Relatives should all RSVP and not turn up last minute. I really hate it when things don't go as planned and we have to change the arrangement. 

Damn, am I turning into a bridezilla?

The food was good. It was actually 4 course. Salad, soup, main and dessert. I have no idea how much this costs but they did not get their wedding package because it was initially supposed to be a very small event. They paid $250 or smth to hold the ceremony there. 

Then, 4 course meal for 30 pax. Any extra person, they just paid the ala carte price or smth.

Of course, I have to help my future MIL with her hair. I offered to, in fact. She was sick so she was sleeping in the car and the rosette was destroyed after awhile. 

I didn't help her with makeup because it would mean that I have to wake up damn early. I've learnt my lesson from the 3am makeup/hairstyling for Sihui's mom. 

To be fair, it wasn't so early initially. I'm happy I helped her save some money. I can't imagine how much surcharge she'd paid for such early morning call.

I did my makeup in the morning before helping ray mom. I'm in love with the Too faced chocolate bar palette 😍

Cooling down now before I head to shower. I found an app to help me do interval running but I'm dying now.

I completed 6km of interval on day 1 then climbed the stairs up to R's place. On hindsight, I was a bit siao because my muscles was already screaming after the 6km run. 

Yesterday I only managed to finish 3km of interval because of muscle ache. So I substituted it with 1 freelectics workout.

I wanted to skip it today because my muscles has been screaming since day 1.

But R has client update so will be late. I decided to drag my lazy ass down for a slow run. So here I am, finally completed my 3km run and getting pokegym after the run. 

Yes, I'm still playing. Haha

We (I am) are thinking of doing a diy shoot in australia this december using tripod. R reluctantly agreed to it because he just wants to travel only. 

But I thought since we (I am) are going to take his 'looking at it' photos, why not just take nicer photos with us more dressed up? 

Idk which one to choose to buy cos I thought wedding dress will be a bit 夸张. I'm going to make use of the grey tulle I wore for @chasingwaterfallswedding. Haha. 不要浪费. Don't think I'll wear it again.

So 2 outfits can ba. Need to look for a nice white top to match the tulle too. 

And need to exercise more and eat less. Less sugar too. I've been drinking either less sweet/no sugar coffee nowadays but no effect leh. Must be the late night supper that R entice me with. He always skip his dinner and buy supper back. Haiz. I need more discipline!

watercolor calligraphy

My amateur attempt at watercolour and brush calligraphy. 

Took a class with my sis this morning at Shop Wonderland conducted by Joanne from The Letter J. 

It was $150 for 3hours but we extended for 30mins. All the classes are so expensive but at least I learnt something. It was amazing how the 3h just flew by like that.

We were each given this booklet to practise on.

My first attempt at calligraphy. So difficult, omg. I had a hard time trying to curve those lines. Almost pull out all my hair. 没有天分. Haha

Second sheet to prac on.

Subsequent prac sheets got better. I started to get the hang on writing circular words but still had a hard time writing g, j, y, b... Basically those that require some 'feel', i cant make it.

Prac for the Better Together phrase. Others chose phrases that are longer, I'm lazy. Lol

Came back to prac somemore. I hope this is not my 三分钟热度. I didn't have enough time to try capital letters during the lesson so only got to do it when I'm back. Ok le la, not bad liao. First time. I think i got the hang of it already, just need to prac more.

Wanted to use up the paint instead of throwing away so I tried chinese calligraphy. I still remember we got to learn a few lessons during sec sch by 杨老师. Lol but my chinese calligraphy looks like shit.

Of course got to try writing my name.

Joanne, the teacher, wrote for us our name. This is too nice to be my work.
