Ray's dad drove me to the centre because it was raining. I was secretly hoping he could send me because it was really raining very heavily. I even got the umbrella ready to walk all the way to the bus stop.
I guess it's my day today because just so nice, he just came back from his brunch and met me at the🚪. Then, he offered to drive me! 🎊🎉🎊🎉

Last night we went for Korean bingsu at upper Thomson and it was good.

We ordered three different flavours to share. The first one was injeolmi and this is obviously Mango.
This is the coffee flavour. I didn't try this but the Mango was really fresh. The injeolmi was also very good. They're all not too sweet so it was easy to finish them up.
We were also saying how we should have had come in the afternoon when it was super hot.

We were wondering why don't the ice melt like how ice kachang does and as usual, Ray has to come up with the explanation.
He said it must be because of the specific heat capacity of the bowl then subsequently corrected himself and said it was because of the heat capacity.
Oh well, the last time I touched physics was a decade ago so I didn't really get what he was saying. 😂
Everyone just kept quiet and let him talk about it. I think no one has a clue why doesn't the ice melt.

I didn't manage to wake up in the morning to do my workout today because I got woken up by Ray at like 5plus 6am and by the time I fell asleep again, it was already 730am.
I blame the phone.
So, I'm going to try and workout later after I get home from work. Ray recommended an app called freelectics which is actually a HIIT workout app. Let's see if it's good. The other app that I tried yesterday wasn't that great so I'm gg to delete it.

Yeah! Completed my workout with proper warm up and cool down. When I don't warm up and cool down properly I'll get muscle ache for almost 2 days.
I haven't done sit up in a long long time, maybe since the last napfa test. Wtf.
I had a hard time completing 30 sit ups. Wts. Used to be able to chiong 50 to get the A in napfa test. Now, 30 only and I'm KOed.

stomach ache / foundation first impression

I'm just done with marinating my chicken breast for tomorrow's lunch. Going to 😴 soon but feel bad for sleeping when he can't. 😪 I think I'll still sleep. Haha! My sister was telling me how I should review on the makeup products that I have so that they don't go to waste.
I mean I probably already earned back the money I spent on them with all the makeup assignments I did in the past.
Anyway, my sister just came back from Korea and she was raving about a foundation that she bought there.
So, I decided to try and do a first impression.

First impression in the morning:
1) coverage is quite good. It managed to cover my blemishes and redness.
2) it sets really quickly so you have to blend quickly. I used a cushion sponge to apply it in a patting motion so it will give more coverage.
3) it's a liquid to powder formulation so you don't need to powder it.
4) quite a nice sheen so there's no need for highlight, I guess this is the same for most Korean foundation.

1) the sides of my nose, chin and forehead had been rubbed off (I just blotted the oil away with tissue paper and I like to rest my Chin on my hand while marking)

Oh ya, 顺便 review on the eyeliner. I tried to find different ways to make it work and I guess I found it!
Previously, I was too lazy so I didn't put primer before applying the liner and it always smudged. Always.
Today, I used my Nars eyeshadow primer and it stayed on quite well with a tiny little black mark at the outer corner of my eye.
But overall still not bad la. I was intending to throw it away if it's going to keep smudging and buy the k palette one that I like. Now, I can keep it!

It's so hot these days so I either tie my hair up into a pony tail or just do a fan bun. But as the day go, the fan bun and pony tail will droop and become super auntie.

Anyway, this is the foundation that I did my first impression on. Idk. I might need to use another method to test if it's really good. Maybe tomorrow I'll do half face mufe ultra HD and half face this foundation.

I'm not going to zoom any further, I feel naked. 😂

This is the eyeliner that kept smudging when I don't use primer. Smudges like crazy, I'm not even kidding you.

1) blusher significantly lighter
2) oily, as usual

4) one part of my forehead has no foundation

VDL won!
It's not bad given how long I wore it for and braved the hot sun/perspiration with me.
The blusher really made a huge difference to the comparison. It's still very visible except that my cheeks are oily. Oh well, I can't help with that.
As for the concealer, first impression is not bad. I asked the lady at the stall and she told me there's no need to layer a skin colour concealer on top so I didnt. It stayed on and still looks decent.

That's besides the point. As u can see, my dark eye circle is quite bad due to the fact that I sleep between 1 to 3am every night.
I have sinus so it makes my eyes puffy as well. Urrgh.

Wefie with my sister during lunch. It's rare that she will take picture with me because either her makeup not good enough or her hair is too messy for photo. Today, she initiated to take photo so must post. 😂
Her friend was also so nice today! She made japchae and brought it for us! Omg. Didn't know being the sister of a friend has this perk! 😚
