calligraphy / bukit timah hill

I've been practising writing with a brush pen and even got one with ink inside. 😂 i think i found a new hobby! 

But now, I only know how to copy other people's work. I guess we all need to start somewhere. Hopefully after enough copying, I can start writing my own style. 

R has been trying to write too. Lol. He just want to 凑热闹.

More from yesterday. He was packing his stuff because today the contractors are coming to hack the walls.

Aince Christmas 🎄 is coming, I googled some christmas calligraphy to try.

I should probably cut back on coffee because my hand was trembling when I was writing. Or is it age is catching up? Omg

Also tried some Harry Potter quotes.

Aww... I totally remember the heartache when Snape replied Always when Dumbledore asked him that question.

More copying. These people are so talented.

Look at how squiggly my strokes are. Hand was trembling like crazy. I can't draw these curvy lines properly with my trembling hand.

My small letter r is still quite weird.

Got to keep telling myself the phrase on top when climbing Rinjani. Lol. 

We finally started our training after god knows how long. We climbed Bukit Timah Hill yesterday morning with weights. I carried 2kg plus my clothes, water bottle and other stuff. R carried 4kg plus all the nonsense. 

The start was tough because it's the steepest but after that is quite easy. I managed to complete it without complaining unlile the last time when I had to stop and R had to wait for me. 😂

mateur calligraphy / Travel plans

Prac from today thanks to google images. I think I might need to get more brush pens of different colours to write more fanciful stuff.

I found some free printable prac worksheet online. These are still quite ok but the flourishing prac sheets that I did were so ugly. Omg.

I cant twist and turn for nuts. My gosh. My hand just doesn't listen. Some can, most cmi.

We got our Tokyo wait list! Omg. Idk if I should go because we are already going Australia from 11 Dec to 19 Dec then 21 Dec to 26 Dec at Rinjani/Gillis island. The Tokyo flight is on 27 Dec. 

Is it a bit crazy? I have until 18 Nov to decide. 

Should I?

While accompanying R to visit his g'ma at the hospital, i used my phone to prac writing since there's a brush option. R wanted to try and attempted to write as well. 😂
