unemployed day 2

Day 2 of unemployment is spent going to bank to settle some admin stuff with the new owner. I'm now omw to meet my friend for lunch then drag him to eat chendol with me at Chinatown before heading to plaza sing to buy crafts stuff from art friend.

I got R to go to a watercolour class with me conducted by @/yaokhuan on instagram. This is the 1st time in my life when I did a piece of art properly with guidance and it was really fun.

We signed up for a buddy package, $150 for 2 pax for 2hours. We were late as usual. I mean I really can't make R be on time. It's harder than climbing mountain.

The class was conducted at his place and we attended the lesson with one other couple. All of our art exposure stopped at Sec 2. 😂

So YK probably needed a lot more time to guide us but R was chionging his piece and finished way faster than the rest of us.

We met up with our uni friends to have a meal after and one of them immediately said that mine looked better but R insists that his is nicer. Well, art is subjective.

Finally omw home now after completing all the things that I set out to do outside of home. Met up w my friend for omurice and then heading to eat chendol.

My friend's fiancé made chendol last year at our friend's baby shower and everyone was so impressed with it. Within the month or next, he opened a stall at Chinatown food complex. Super fast. Well, he could have been planning for it for some time already.

I don't like to do this but they left me no choice and so I am now an "active detractor" of the chain of restaurants and I'm sure my group of friends who stayed behind with us until 5plus am on my wedding night would be as well.

Before I post anything officially, I think I better get some lawyer friends to look through first to cover my ass. But if you're interested to find out about my nightmare wedding with One Host, I can share my review and experience with you privately.

I just called CASE and they told us that we should lodge a complaint with them. So after R comes home tonight, we are going to discuss what we are going to do.

I am actually talking to 3 to 4 other brides who had terrible experience with them and are trying to get a refund or some form of compensation.

Some of the brides from a longer time ago told me that One Host basically just MIA from them. 😲 MIA?! Wts.

On the first official day of unemployment, because 1 Jan is PH, I spent it spending money. Fml.

So after my successful class with YK, I've decided to learn watercolour painting properly so I signed up for more lessons with him in Jan because he won't be free from Feb onwards 😢

I needed some supplies so I headed to beloved Art Friend to shop. First up! Tracing paper because I cant draw myself. Lol

I also got a palette because I only have those super small kind that doesn't even allow the colours to flow or mix tgt. Maybe I should get better paints because I'm using TB watercolour now. Haha.

Some pencils for me to try to draw. Lol. More pentel aquash brushes for painting and also calligraphy.

I saw Sonia Lee (Jayesslee) using this particular brush for her calligraphy challenge and thought it looks quite smooth so got it to try too. More brush pen and a micron pen.

Non washi washi tape to hold on to the paper. I mean why are washi tapes so expensive??

Walked around PS for awhile before getting a hitch and guess what? Lol watsons had a road show and I ran out of top coat so here I am $12.90 down. Hahaha

I needed (wanted) to try this innisfree coconut mask because we saw my aunt's tenant super porcelain skin and asked her for beauty tips and she said she used this plus she doesn't put makeup at all. Though I think it's more of the latter but whatever la, let's try and find out.

Got myself a scrub to clear the gunk out too.
