Almost there.

Two weekends ago we attended our uni friend's wedding at Open farm community. It was a really intimate affair. The couple had the relative session in the afternoon and at night it's just friends.

Congratulations to Deepan and Julianne. Their wedding hashtag is lovejudeepdeep. So cute! 😍

Julianne is really talented. She sewed her wedding dress and Deepan's tie. It is so meaningful and the dress fits her like a glove. How many of us will actually have a wedding dress we sewed ourselves? 👍👍👍

R was tasked to decorate this cart and the reception table and they only gave him photos to hang. 😂 

Lucky he has me! Not very pretty but still better than just photos hanging.

This is how it looks like at night. I brought my fairy lights so it looks more whimsical.

While waiting for guests to arrive, we had reception duties. ZY did not have to stand there but he was looking for his 'chai' but none of them made it. Lol. 

The restaurants served us some snacks while waiting for the dinner to start.

R loved this so much. I ate it despite it being beef and it's not bad.

R and ZY were complaining so much when the starter is served. Lol. 

This is known as, 'Food that my food eats!'

I chose risotto for my main as I already had this before and know it is good. Lucky for me because the other dish which is a fish doesn't look as nice as this.

The dessert was very delicious too but I ate the cake without eating the pie together and the pie was too sour on its own.

The couple also prepared fuji instax for the guests to take pictures and Ivie took a photo of us when I was clearing R's eye shit. 

Looks so loveydovey here but I'm literally doing sai-gang. Hahahahaa

I only saw this on the way out. I really love the feel that fairy lights have in the night. So going to have it for my non-existent banquet. When will the restaurant open??? Urrghh

Back to posting some more writing. The uglier ones are usually those that are the first few pieces of the day. 

R has courageously asked me to write something to hand in our new room =X

So much confidence in me. Haha

I think I might have gotten a little ahead of myself. I went to buy watercolour paper. Siao za bor here. 

I don't even know how long this thing will last. 😂

I still have very shaky hands. Haiz. How?

I also tried using watercolour to do the calligraphy but I'm still a mega noob in controlling the colours. 

Sometimes the colours just kept oozing out. I also haven't got used to how tight my hand should hold the brush.

I kop my sister's watercolour to try today. She doesn't like the orange colour which i like because it's so bright and vibrant. 

Omg. Am I turning into an ahjuma?

This was my first piece today. You can see my half hearted 'is the best'. Haha 

Sometimes it's all about the feel. Just like when I put on eye makeup. The 'feel' comes then I choose a certain colour. There's no right or wrong. Just ugly or nice. 😂 in this case, quite ugly. Lol.

I watched some youtube tutorials on making the watercolour background. Haha. Little did I know that my brush pen will smudge when i write onto it. Lesson learnt.

My last piece of writing today. I wrote quite a lot in between but not with watercolours. 

Ohh, I also bought the Tombow dual brush from Tokyu hands. Am I crazy? Shitzzzz
