taobao wedding dress

I was discussing with my gf what dress would be nice. I really have no preference because I haven't really tried on any. 

Two of them were saying how I should get the very simple one for my NZ prewed shoot and solemnisation because all the ang mo all wear this kind. 

I admit I'm quite brainwashed by them. Haha

So I went to #taobao to look for cheap dress that I can buy since renting also cost me as much or even more than if I buy them online. Furthermore, tb can 量身订做 so why not?

I happened to chance upon a few shops that sell quite simple wedding dress and I also got R to add some that he likes into the cart. 

These are mixture of what I added into cart and R.

I only added these two red dresses to see if I want to wear the left one instead of a kua and the right one for the photoshoot just because I want to stand out. Idw to blend into the background for too many of the photos.

Venue hunt

We finally went for the site inspection this afternoon. 

Nothing is confirmed yet. We are still waiting for more information on the different packages they can offer us. 

For now, what we know is they can only hold 160 pax max in the building itself. If we want more, we have to set up a marquee and have 250 guests in the marquee but it sort of defeats the purpose of holding it there. 

So the guys suggested that we hold one in the afternoon and one in the night. Wah. Got so crazy not?

Raymond is kind of interested in the idea of having 2 sessions. I thought he's a bit siao because before that he asked them how late he can have the venue till because he wants to have an after party. 

Guess what? 

He said 3am!

Mind blown!

As in R said 3am. 我不知道他哪来的精力. 

Then he said that during their company retreat everyone stayed up throughout the night. 

Siao liao la. 
😅 

Idk how I feel about 2 sessions mann..... It's like who to put for lunch who to put for dinner? 

Dinner supposed to be for family usually but if we are going to have after party then friends should be dinner right? 

I dont think my friends will stay for the after party looking at how they all left quite early the last wedding we attended.

So I'll be left w his colleagues.... Hmmmmm.......... 

My friends.... Will u stay?

Ok, back to the photos. We went to One Rochester @ Una to eat with his family, same restaurant group as the one we went for the site inspection. 

Oh, they already have 2 bookings for Dec 2017 when they're not even opened yet. People are siao. 

Lucky ours quite flexi.

R wanted to eat the cheese rosti that we had the last time we came but too bad it's not on the menu. 

So we ordered the other food to try. The tapas and beef were all not bad.

This paella which is supposed to be chef recommendation was so so so so so so so salty! 

I cannot emphasize more. But because we were so hungry, we still finished most of it along with one bucket of water.
