Solemnisation Venue

 Solemnisation Venue ✔️
I think we are more or less set on having the solemnisation in New Zealand just that we haven't really decided on how it's going to be carried out.

We will only be having our immediate family with us so in total only 9 people including us.

It's a long way there and it's not cheap so we want to keep it small and intimate. Furthermore, we get to do a family trip together after the ceremony.

 Garden wedding OR Heliwedding
The lodge that we are intending to stay in is within a farm and they already have a very nice garden.

Initially, we thought of just having the ceremony at the garden but after we explored a few more options, we found Heliwedding.

In fact, it was offered to us when we were traveling in NZ last Dec.
I did a little more research and found out that you can actually fly everyone up the mountain, have the ceremony conducted on top of the mountain ☝️, have your photographs taken there and also have a meal there with your guests.

I haven't enquired for the price yet but I think it's not going to cheap.

I may be getting a little ahead of myself but I keep justifying to myself that since we're there why not just do it? Plus, I get to give my family an experience that's very special.
I haven't flown on a helicopter, that's for sure. R maybe did it during his NS days when he had to do parachute jumps but I think the rest of us probably never had a chance to.

Omg. It's so beautiful it's so hard to say no. But I also don't want to be those couple who become super poor after one wedding.

Plus, if we are going to travel together as a family, I think we might have to pay a lot more stuff for our parents. Ok, maybe the other siblings can help a bit with the traveling. 🙏
There are so many more things to settle:

- Photographer 📷
- Videographer 📹
- Bridal bouquet 💐
- Celebrant
- Caterer
- Helicopter+Pilot 🚁 (if we are doing heliwedding)
- Sound system (idk if we need since there are only 9 of us)
- Gown&Suit
- Cake 🎂
- Music 🎶
- Programs
- DIY decorations? (KIV, if we are doing Heliwedding, I think Mother Nature will settle this naturally. Haha)
- Restaurants for other meals
- Makeup artist & Hairstylist (yes, they're separated in NZ,
so I'm thinking of doing it myself. Should I?
- Travel itinerary (Flight, Accommodation/RV, restaurants, activities to do etc)
- Pre wedding shoot

Wah, I need a project team like I had when I was organising NUSSU Bash. Faint.

Luckily I still have around 1year 5months to do everything slowly.
