Went for my hair dye back at Lee Ka Ja @ Mandarin Gallery yesterday for my pre wedding shoot this Sunday. I opted for a Balayage dye so that when it grows out it will still be natural, hopefully don't need to dye again in december.

I spent quite a lot here because I have to bleach my hair in order to get the ash look that I wanted. This also means my hair is like super duper cui now. Dry and grassy.

While doing my hair, I was also instructing Ray to pack the stuff for GDL which he thought I should've packed it for him but 不是我要娶媳妇叻...

Drama aside, he managed to pack everything needed. Picked me up before we went for some temperaments assessment with our pastor who will be marrying us in Sg.

We didn't do the traditional GDL. My mom only requested for pinjin and diaper money so R just prepared those two. When we asked my future parents-in-law whether they want to join us to go to my mom's place, that's when the blaming party started.

I blame R for not doing enough, R blamed his parents for not doing their part then R's mom blamed R's bro for disallowing her to take part during his wedding and so on.

Tbh, I don't like it when R insists that I'm the one very particular about

traditions. Well, I'm only going to get married once in my life right, obviously I want some things done so that it looks more 好看. If you don't want to go all out, fine, but put in some effort la.

I'm actually in a group chat with other december brides and it seems like this is a very common sentiment. HTBs don't seem to care as much as we want them to. Aishhh wayang a bit cannot meh? Just make the WTBs happy awhile mah...

So anyway, we to Pan Pacific Hotel's Hai Tien Lou for the dinner with both families. We prepared a small gift for each of our family members. A customised pouch with 2 small bottles of bird's nest and a Dr Jart+ mask for them to 养颜 and mask before our big day in NZ next Tue.

I got the older peeps firming mask, the younger ones hydrating mask, for R a soothing one and a control breakout one for myself. Wedding stress is making a lot of pimples pop everywhere on my 😔

Food was good. The total bill came up to about $850 after 20% discount for 9 of us.

Soup that R said he ordered wrongly. Should have ordered something else. I wasn't particular about the food. I was just filled with so much love and anticipation and was practically smiling to myself the whole time. R kept asking me why I was smiling. Lol
