Last week was spent going for @chasingwaterfalls hens night where we (most) all dressed up according to the theme.
It was my first hens night because not many of my friends are married or getting married. It was quite fun.
The food was ok but I felt a little too full in the end. Haha. It wasn't the typical hens night which involves crazy drinking. Just a lot of jokes and laughter.

The waitress had to stop us from ordering more because we were ordering 2 dishes that are meant for group sharing.

Memories came flooding back as I walked past the 139 basketball court. It seems like it's just yesterday when @chasingwaterfalls was convincing me to quit volleyball and join NPCC when we were in sec 1.
And also us running up and down the HDB block to get away from the boys who wanted to get our numbers.
Tomorrow she's tying the knot. 13 years just flew by like that. It's crazy.

First time as bridesmaid
A bridesmaid POV
As I saw my friend's post on her wedding, I thought I would follow her post and write a bridesmaid POV. Haha.
Girls, do not say Yes to being a bridesmaid if you're not really ready. My feet feels like I just ran 10km yesterday in heels now. Haha.

Time check: 5am
I woke up on my own. Didn't even need an alarm clock because I was too excited and worried that I'll over sleep. Ok, maybe also because my fiancé was snoring the whole night right beside my ears that disrupted my sleep.
Did my make up, straightened my hair, drink some meal replacement because I know I probably don't have time to eat.
Sat around for a bit before I go to the 👰 house.

Reached the 👰 house but the mama not at home. I offered to help her put on some simple makeup for the morning because they didnt intend to hire MUA for the morning.
She went out to chongpang to buy cake. While waiting, I just hanged around the 👰 room while she does her makeup to enjoy the air con. It was so hot.
Done with the mama makeup by around 750am. I actually didn't allocate enough time to do hair but I don't really think her hair looks nice so I suggested to curl.

Fast forward to the real gate guarding. We obviously asked for Ang bao. The first one has 7 $10 note and multiple $2 note.

One of the groomsman's pants was torn even before the gate crash started. So when he came into the 👰 house, he sat down immediately. Lol.
While on the way to seletar, we will pass by his place so he went back to get a new pair of pants that's of another shade and everyone noticed. Hahahaha
He was like, 'I thought I can say it's the gatecrash that made my pants tear' lol but the kind bride prepared a very different and super mild gatecrash game.

Rushed back home to shower before heading to the hotel to makeup for the MIL.
It was a mad rush. I have 1h 30mins to do everything. Shower, blow dry my hair, dry my clothes because they were soaking in sweat from the morning events, do my makeup for the night and tie my hair up too.

Had a little argument here with R because he was hungry and I didn't allocate enough time for him to get food. Sorry. I couldn't be late for the makeup because I have to go to the wedding venue by 515pm for the rehearsal.

They were taking some photos when I went back to check if the 👰 needs touch up. We went back to the store room where they re record their Vow. The sound system during the solemnisation wasn't the best.
So anyway, only had to do minimal touch up on the nose because she rubbed them off while she was sobbing i think.
