thanksmombymlw / brunch w family
Brought my mom and sis to #thanksmombymlw and this was our first time in a proper photoshoot together.
It was pretty quick. We reached at 11am, 15mins before our scheduled shoot at 1115am as told. Started at 1115am and ended at 1125am. Chop Chop!

Our dress code for the day. White top and blue jeans. Gosh, my sister looks so tiny beside the two of us. Ok, maybe I look giant beside her.
When I told her she's very Asian for doing ✌, she went like whatever, I'm Asian.

After that, I brought my family to Pacamara for brunch and this is my mom trying to take photo of her meal like all of us social media fanatics. 😂
The spaghetti were not as nice as the brunch food. Carbonate was too gao and got sick of it too fast. Ray's squid ink vongole was also so-so only.
I have duck fit hash and it came with poached eggs. My favourite. Haha.
Ray was so not satisfied with his and kept stealing from my plate.

Anyway there was this very old school gate outside one of the clinic that ray said anyhow give MC, my sis wanted to take #ootd there so we walked back to take photo.

Also, I helped my sis curl her hair and I love the curl/wave do much. Just used one of the tips I learnt from watching 女人我最大✌

I wanted to just take the picture with the packaging then my very kpo bf was like, 'you should out it in a bowl. It'd be nicer in a 🍜'.

Just done checking my Sec 2 student's work that she sent me last minute via what's app because she has exams tmr and also solving a P6 Math question.
My brain is quite fried by this time because I used so much of it in the day. So when I got the message, it made me feel like shit.
But still happy because she bothered to revise and asked me to check.

Was out with Ray's friends last Sunday and chatted till quite late. So, we told them how we are intending to hold a destination wedding. Damn不要脸because he hasn't proposed yet. But whatever la! It's almost 7 years being tgt, don't need so mysterious la.
Anyway, so one of his friends told us that his friend/colleague held her wedding at the super chio Alila villa and it came up to 100k. I was like so shock! My Bali wedding 泡汤了😧

I can't blame him for that.
His brother is getting married next year and he's already 35 this year so I personally think he shouldn't wait anymore.

But to be fair, all my cousins got married by 27 yo. The only ones who are not married yet are still studying. One doing medicine in Australia, one idk finish masters already not. They're brothers so same pattern i think. 😂

It sucks to have a workaholic bf. I knew it back then when we were organising NUS Rag and Flag in 2011 that he's a crazy workaholic. But ever since he started working, it became worse.

So that day while having drinks with my girls and their significant others, Ray accidentally told me that he started smoking because his work is so stressful that he needs to smoke to distress.
I am someone who hates people who smokes. I know smoking has no causal relationship with cancer yada yada but I just don't like it.
He said he will not become addicted to it and that he will try not to smoke anymore. Tbh, I don't think he will stop. He's a social smoker, that I know.

But I really bth people with yellow and black teeth because of smoking. It's a serious no-no. It looks so gross and makes me want to puke.
