I want to join back the other tuition. The teacher so good, got sweet one leh!
This is what a P2 student exclaimed today.
I was just reading a comprehension passage about parenting the other day and it reflected what I see on a daily basis.
It touched on how parents these days think that they are too busy to discipline their children and chose to leave it to the teachers to teach them morals, integrity and etc. It also talked about how kids are manipulating their parents to get the things that they want.

I thought it was very true. These days most of the children are somewhat 'self-entitled'. We give them sweets as rewards but over time they take it for granted.
If they misbehave and we don't give the sweets to them, they will say that we are bad teachers because we refuse to give them sweets.

On rare days, I try to dress up better and put on a pair of heels to go to work. Just got the new dress that I bought from LilyPirates and they are so nice. So, I decided to pair it with my trusty black heels from pretty fit.
Ray won't be back tonight because he only flew on Wednesday so I only get to see him tomorrow. Idk if it's better for him to be very busy with work from Mon - Fri or fly from Mon - Thurs.

I saw on fb on Wednesday that one of my school mates from pri-jc just broke up with his gf of 8 years. The reason was because she makes a fuss whenever he gets too busy with work and couldn't talk to her or entertain her.
This really got me thinking because this is the exact same problems that I have. When you're together with someone for long enough and grow up together, you will definitely go through the different phases of life. But what if one party is unable to transit as smoothly?

A gift from my student who's in sec 3 this year. She has been with me since pri 6.
I've seen her from from a small girl to a young lady. Feels kind of old at times when you see your students grow up.
Since I started tutoring when I was in JC, I already have tutees who graduated from university last year. It's like WOW!
They're growing up, I'm growing old.

And yay to Raymond coming back tonight! I wonder what we are going to do this weekend. I'm really looking forward to it and also looking forward to next weekend because it's Labour Day holiday and I get Monday off! Woohoo!

Nightmare / Magic tricks
Had a really terrible sleep last night. It was do warm in the blankets that I was woken up by the heat. It's too cold outside of the blanket. I blame Raymond.
His core temperature is so freaking high and night so he likes his air con extremely cold with fan blowing at high speed.
We shared the blanket and he's emitting heat like a 🔥!
What's worse? I like to sleep on one side so my hand got so numb that I could feel anything. I had to wake up to massage it so blood will flow through.

There was literally no sensation in the hand. Twice last night. Twice.
Then, I had a nightmare. Ok, or is it 被鬼压? You know those moments when you try to make a sound but you can't, you try to move but you can't? It was that kind of feeling.
I know it can be explained by science but idk. Is it science or 👻?

It was the end of class so I allowed one of my student to perform his 'magic tricks' in class and this was what happened. The other student was supposed to hold the folded poker card using his lips but being a clean freak, he refused. So, the 'magician' tried to beg him to do it to no avail.
Then, I became his next target.
The other students were paying close attention to what he did and saw through his tricks. This is him trying to laugh it off. 😂

I pulled the blanket away and took a picture because I wanted to dayre about his stubborn and uncooperative moments. To think about it, if I were to dayre all the times he's uncooperative, I only need to dayre whole day and don't need to do other things already.

Just completed my hiit workout at Yishun Stadium. We got stopped because there is a soccer game going on now. First time trying hiit tabata at the tracks. With the heat, it we can really kill Mann...
This is how much I'm sweating after only 12 mins of tabata interval running and 3 sets of statics interval as well.
