Travel: Hong Kong Day Trip

These pictures pretty much sum up my day trip at Hong Kong when transiting to Mongolia - Ulaanbaatar. I visited Hong Kong back in 2010 and I remembered it to be extremely hot and humid. It was in July and once I stepped out of the hotel/shopping centres, I start to perspire. It was better this time round. We had quite a few hours between flights so we decided to head out for some good food and shopping.

We touched down at around 7am, headed out and waited for Tim Ho Wan to open at 9am. No queue! This was my first time trying Tim Ho Wan. Never really got to eat it in Sg since there's always a queue. It was simply yummy. No words can describe how tasty the Char Siew Bao was.

I really do enjoy short trips like this and I hope to do it more often in the future when I have more money to travel to more places. But when you have money, you have no time, when you have time, you have no money. Guess we really have to make a sacrifice sometimes.

Cheers,
Xin Er
