Review: Wims8 Masks

Here's a short review of a face mask and eye mask that was given to me by a friend. I've been using them for at least the past few months already.

My before face...yes.. many fine lines under my eyes because I have nose allergy which causes my eyes to become itchy most of the time and my equally "itchy" hands cannot stop rubbing them. So, if you have itchy and watery eyes, try not to rub them too much or you'll end up like me :( No eye cream will help because I can't control the rubbing when I'm sleeping.

Other than my eyes, I don't really have fine lines anywhere else but I have been suffering from adult acne ever since Uni. :'(

I like to use mask before I put on makeup when I go somewhere nice because masks help to lock the moisture into your skin and hence the oil secretion will not be as fast. Though this is a whitening mask, I find that my makeup sits on it quite well after one long day. 

I like to massage the remaining products in after removing the mask using a patting motion across my face. Then, I'll use my palm to press my cheeks, forehead and chin to end off the massage. Next, apply eye mask (this is not the eye mask that I am reviewing) that is moisturising so that concealer will not budge after you put it on.

When your face is sufficiently hydrated, it will not become oily too fast and your makeup will blend in better as well. Furthermore, the whitening mask will give your face a healthy glow :)

This is my face after one whole day. As you can see, the makeup was still in tact though parts of my face were slightly oily. But overall, this is ok for me as my face become oily within 3-5 hours usually.

Next is the eye mask which was supposed to be a sleeping eye mask. It said it is an emergency eye mask which can help reduce the appearance of fine lines after 3 days but I didn't really see much difference maybe because I am too much of a persistent eye rubber. lol

One thing I don't like about this mask is that it is quite hard (for me) or maybe I did not place it properly but when I close my eyes I just don't feel comfortable. As my fine lines start from the extreme inner corners of my eyes, I wanted to put the mask right at the root of the problem. Guess it didn't turn out as well as I unconsciously took off the mask in my sleep several times and found the remnants of the masks on my bed. haha

I'm not done with the whitening masks yet and I'm bringing it to Mongolia with me so I can put on my face after standing under the sun for the whole day. Will check back to see if it's whitening enough since I'm not really exposed to the sun these days and so I can't see any significant difference.
