19 Apr: The Marmalade Pantry

This is probably my 3rd visit to The Marmalade Pantry but it's my first at Fairways Drive and also first with R. We reached there slightly too early as they only open at 3pm. We drove around the area to kill time until 3. It was a different experience driving around there since you don't really get to see the more nature side of Singapore that often. There are stables, areas where horses can stroll (I guess since it's not that big), some abandon chalet-like houses where it says they are for rent (they look so creepy I don't think anyone would rent it though). We also drove by a shop/warehouse where there are many antiques or just old looking things sitting outside the building.

I was actually waiting for R at UTown Starbucks where I painted my nails (vain much) and found a wonderful new korean drama (Cunning Single Lady) to watch. Hohoho. It felt good to be back in school, felt younger lol. I walked in from carpark 5 and I felt like I blended in well. Hha. K lah, some of the guys in school are still older or same age as me so I guess it doesn't make much difference.

I also put on my makeup outside Starbucks!

Just kidding lahh..that would be too much. I put on all the makeup while R was driving to school. I was also playing with a new palette that I got and I'm loving the colours, will post a review soon after I try out the other one from the same brand.

The interior is quite plain, nothing much. Given that we were the only customers they have at such weird hours of the day, it felt like we booked the whole place to ourselves. Haha!
