Makeup: Soft brown everyday makeup

Hello! I'm back! Just a quick easy to do makeup for everyday. Whenever I feel like doing makeup but don't have enough time, this is what I do. This makeup will last all day and you can definitely skip some steps if you want to.

Before I start doing my makeup, I always like to condition my lips to prep it for any lip products that I intend to put on and I'm really loving the Burts Bee one these days. It's moisturizing and I especially love the cooling sensation it gives.

So, alway prep and prime your face if you want your makeup to last but have oily skin like me. Ok, doesn't mean that u don't need to prime if u have dry skin. U still have to because some of the products might set in the fine lines and it doesn't look pretty. Then, I mixed my mat velvet + and Revlon color stay foundation in 1:1 ratio (don't want to waste my mat velvet on a normal day, haha)
I then used a wet sponge to apply it all over my face.
As you can see, it doesn't cover all the imperfections because I didn't apply a heavy base so, use a concealer.

This is definitely my go to concealer. MUFE full cover concealer. Awesome awesomest product!

Next, I set my base makeup with Rimmel's Stay Matte powder using a kabuki brush from The Body Shop. I like to apply in a dabbing motion for under my eyes and places where I have pimples/blemishes. If you like to just sweep/brush across, you might push the concealer and foundation away.

Then, with my trusty The Body Shop bronzer, I contoured my jaw line and the sides of my nose.

For eye brows, I'm totally obsessed with this kind of auto eye brow pencil. I had a Lioele one which I love and now I am using one from Tony Moly. Equally good. So, what I always do is I will outline the shape that I want for that day. Sometimes I prefer straight brows, sometimes just following my natural brow shape, sometimes with more arch...depends on my mood. After that just fill it in and use the brush side to soften it.

Also, brows are sisters not twins, so there's no need for them to be 100% symmetrical.

Next, I used Revlon Colorstay sticky shadow stick (pink side) as a base. Just apply it straight from the bullet then rub it in gently with a finger.

Then, I used my pinky finger to dab on maybelline's bad to the bronze color tattoo on the outer corners of my eyes. I then set it with my RMK chocolate brown shadow on top of bad to the bronze and the pink one on top of the revlon colorstay.

This is what you get :)

Tightline with a waterproof eyeliner then extend the end out.

Apply some of the chocolate brown eyeshadow on the bottom eye area to join with the eyeliner.

Curl the lashes and apply a generous amount of mascara. If you want lashes that are more spread out, apply in a zig zag motion.

Get a blusher that you love and dust it on your cheeks.

I used to love more nude lips but after watching My Love from Another Star, I've been loving colours which are brighter.

This is the finished look!

Side note: I've been loving my phone so much. Proudly (partly) sponsored by Raymond Yang! heehee
The screen is so big and I can watch shows without having to put the screen so near to my face. AWESOME!

I will try to find time to do some reviews and makeup tutorial! It's really very relaxing for me as I take pictures of me doing makeup. Till the next! Ciao!
