Ryzer: La Petite to Habitat Café
It's been so long since I last updated. I have been so busy with work and I'm quite tired though I just came back from Taiwan and will be leaving for Bali (again) tomorrow.
(coughs) This is actually a really outdated post as well. We had time to go to these cafés in december because it was still the holidays and we are free. Now it's just work, work, school, school for R and I.
On a happier note, I have students who did really well for O levels and I'm really happy about it!
In any case, we went to La Petite at Upper Thomson one fine afternoon for lunch. In fact, we wanted to go to Habitat for brunch but there was a queue and hence we hopped over to La Petite. We had my 23rd birthday dinner at La Petite last year and it was quite a good experience. Affordable and yummy french cuisines for poor people like us.
The dishes they serve are all really really awesome. You should give it a try if you have not tried it before or if you're tied on budget but want to have some french cuisines. Though the food is great, I quite dislike the table cloth that they use. It makes everything look so cheapo. I guess it would be a lot less cheapo without the red white picnic table cloth. LOL
After that we hopped over to Habitat again to have some nice coffee and just chill there for a bit. Awww... I miss this life. But you need money to lead this lifestyle so here I am slogging my life away. But I'm really glad i'm teaching and not working in some office which I'm sure I will feel like my life is wasted.
Look at R's expression when he tried the biscuit that came with the coffee. LOL so funny! He really brings me so much laughter.
With so much time in our hands, we even went over to R's uncle's place to visit. His little cousin here was super cute. She took some time to warm up but after that it was really fun.
Back to work! Ciao!
