Favourites: October and November 2013
Yes, I combined Oct and Nov faves because I wasn't really anything that I love so much in Oct. As I sit on the bed typing this post, the bf is busy playing L4D2 and kept going, "Where's the health pack? Where's the health pack!", "Guys, my com is lag, my com is lag!" and occasional laughters here and there. I ever tried to play L4D2 on my own but I chickened out because I was really afraid of the zombies. Haha. Mega hum-ji over here guys! ( /)u(\ )
In any case, let's get on to my favourites this month!
Real Techniques Expert Face Brush
Yoooo! This is like my go to foundation brush since the start of the year when I discovered it is sold in Sg! I'm in love with this brush and I'm planning to get another one to use on my clients. The one that I have is for my own personal use and it buffs and blends the foundation onto your face so well. I love how the bristles are soft and densed at the same time. I like to go in circular motion as I spread the foundation all over my face. I ever tried using it with my CC cream but I think it works better with the conventional liquid foundation. If you're looking for a foundation brush now and is on a budget, this is one that you should get. It's affordable and it works super good! I got mine from qoo10, delivery was fast and customer service was good.

Maybelline Dream Matte Powder
Yes, after Rimmel Stay Matte Powder hit the pan, this is the next matte powder that I've been using every day when I put on makeup. I first got to know this powder from missglamorazzi on youtube. This is almost like her staple face powder. She said she had really oily skin and this product helped a lot. True! This powder keeps my face matte for a longer time in comparison to many other powders that I used. I would say it works similar to Rimmel Stay Matte Powder but you can't get the former in Sg, so Maybelline Dream Matte would be a good enough alternative. Get this from any local Watsons, Guardians and Sasa stalls

Make Up Forever Mat Velvet +
I've talked about how much I love this foundation earlier this year and I recently took it out to use again. I tend to keep more expensive products for special occasions but sometimes they might go bad so I try to use it more often these days. So if you see me with wonderful skin, it's because of this guy here. I would say this is a medium-high coverage foundation and it gets absorbed in pretty quickly so spread it fast as soon as you put it on you face. I got mine from Sephora which you can find at Ion Orchard, Bugis +, Ngee Ann City, JEM (heard they're closing?)

Maybelline Color Tattoo in Bad to the Bronze
I talked about this range of cream eyeshadow when I came back from my USA trip in jan. However, I did not get this shade when I was in the States. I don't know why because this is my all-time favourite cream eyeshadow now. I wear it on its own or use it as a base. I use it on my clients a lot because it really helps to create a very nice brown smokey look with some shimmer. Get this from any local Watsons, Guardians and Sasa stalls.

Bioderma Sensibio H20
I've been removing my makeup using this everyday and when I'm lazy to go to the toilet to wash my face. I'm not dirty ok, it's just that this is a magical bottle of goodness which allows you to get away with washing your face after you use it. So good right!? I'm going to write a more in depth review on this product later this month so check back soon if you're intending to change your makeup removal. You can buy it at Guardian.

The Body Shop Tea Tree Face Mask
I think I mentioned this product in one of my previous favourites but I am really loving this small tub of goodness. It helps to soothe my skin, prevent blemishes and also helped heal existing breakouts. I also have less and less breakouts these days even when it's the time of the month. It also has this tingling and cooling feeling which I really like. So, this is really good. I used to use it together with the facial wash, toner, moisturiser from the same line but I finished the rest and I'm not intending to get more. I think other products work just as fine. In any case, if you have pimples problems, try this out.
