Review: Benefit World Famous Neutrals and Cha Cha Tint + BONUS Tutorial
Hello! One new review here. This time round I'd be reviewing on two of my new favourite for October - Benefit's World Famous Neutrals and Cha Cha tint. There would be a bonus tutorial after the review to show you how to use these two products to achieve a neutral and simple day look transiting to a slightly smokey and sophisticated night look.
I have always known the existence if cha cha tint but I always found it to be slightly too pricey so I actually bought a dupe from Lioele which I quite like but after I got cha cha tint, I LOVE IT! But first, let's start with the eyeshadow palette.
I'm always on the look out for more neutral palette. For now, I have both the Naked and Naked 2 palette from Urban Decay which I really adore. But one can never have too much of the neutral palettes. I mean they are so versatile and easy to use/match any clothes or colours and etc. For me, I just really wanted to try the cream eyeshadows from Benefit I've heard many awesome reviews from youtube by many beauty gurus and so when I went to Sephora, I found this set which is much more worth it. It comes with four eyeshadows namely call my buff which is a shimmery champagne yellow, thanks a latter - a shimmery chocolate colour, pinky swear - light pink with some shimmers and lastly quick, look busy - a dark chocolate colour.
It came with two of the cream creaseless eyeshadow which were what I intended to buy. R.S.V.P. - a pink cream and no pressure! a bronzy brown cream.
The powder eyeshadows are pigmented and they complement each other so well. I love to use call my buff as highlight on my brow bone, pinky swear to brighten the inner corners of my eyes and thanks a latte across my whole lids. The creaseless eyeshadow really helps my eye makeup to last whole day without creasing. I have really oily lids so if I say it keeps my eyeshadow from creasing, it really does!
Next is CHACHATINTTTTT!!!! AAAMAGARRDDD! It's the best blusher you can ask for. I like to use it as a base for my blusher and hell yeahhhh my blusher stays on like forever!
When you open it, the tint comes with a brush which you can use it to apply to your face.
I'm thinking of getting the other shades as well but so far the orange tint is awesome. It comes off really pigmented. What I like to do is put some of it on the back of my hand first then using my fingers, I'll dab it on my cheeks to get a more natural effect. However, I saw a korean makeup variety show and they just put it on the face so I'm going to try it and see how it goes.
Overall, I love all the products and I am definitely going to repurchase when I finish them. You should try the tints!

I'm going to use the products I just reviewed to show you how to get from day - night look with just the products here and a eyeliner.
This is the before and after for day look. Yes, my 大姨妈 is around the corner and hence I am attacked by the pimple monster yet again. It's so sad that I have to go through this every month. I haven't even had the time to recover fully from the previous attack and here comes the next one. bleh #sadlifeofawoman
I will skip the face makeup and go straight to how I used the products here. For the day look, I used R.S.V.P. as a base using a clean finger. Then I apply pinky swear all over my lids and thanks a latte on the bottom of the lids. I buffed and blended everything with a brush so that it creates a softer look.
As usual, I used a brown eyeliner crayon to fill in my waterline and lashline to give the illusion of fuller lashes which I swear you should put it into your makeup routine, it will make a whole lot of difference to your whole look. I also used the brown crayon on my lower lashline and lastly completed the eye makeup with mascara. With the CHACHATINT, I dabbed 3 dots on my lower lips and 2 dots each on my cheeks and spread them out quickly. The thing with tints is that they will stain, like a small dot on the first point where you put it, if you don't spread it out quick enough.
This is the completed day look. Sweet and natural #love
For the night look, I simply darken the eye makeup first by applying no pressure! creaseless cream shadow on the outer corners of my eyes with a clean finger.
Then, I used a fluffy crease brush to apply quick, look busy on the outer corners. With a light hand, I also brought the dark chocolate eyeshadow to almost midway of my eyelids.
To complete the eye makeup, I used a black liquid eyeliner. I even drew on two small strokes on the outer corners of my bottom lashline to create the feel of having more lower lashes.
Lastly, I dabbed on a few more dots from CHACHATINT on my lips and spread it with my fingers to get a darker shade from before.
And this is the completed Night Look.
Day-------------> Night
I hope you enjoyed the review and the makeup tutorial. Till the next!
