Personal: Jingyi's Birthday at Privé
HAPPY BIRTHDAY JINGYI!
This is going to be her birthday's post 1 because we had two separate celebration this year. Too much time to spend, I guess. We went to Privé with her on the actual day, just the three of us, for brunch.
Singapore's weather is seriously erratical, for the past few days it was raining cats and dogs and for the next two days it was freaking hot and humid. So, on the 8th of November, gosh the sun was killing us when we walked all the way into Keppel Island. Serene had her cardigan as a headscarf when we walked in and the birthday girl had her cool shades on. We almost melted while walking in.
We asked for indoor seats because we were burning when we arrived but that choice eventually turned out to be wrong because they had their air con blowing at full blast and it got too cold for us.
I ordered eggs royale with add on potato rosti which is just hash brown. The royale was $16 and the add on was $4. Not that ex in comparison to other brunch places but you have to drive if you want to get here comfortably. Walking under the hot sun is a torture.
Jy and I had the same set and S got the full breakfast with scrambled eggs.
This was the first shot after we went outside. See how foggy it made my lens looked! I wasn't kidding when I said the air con was blasting and the sun was super hot outside.
Look at how happy she looked when we said YES The WHOLE cake is YOURS!
After that we went for our hair cut at FL Hair and it was great :) Had dinner with Jy and her mom. I had to lie through my teeth that I was craving for Twelve cupcakes so much that I must go to Bishan to get it so that they won't give me a ride home but in fact I was buying the cupcakes for her surprise birthday celebration the day after.
