RAINBOW MONDAY!
Hey girlies! How's your Monday so far? Here's a little RAINBOW eye makeup tutorial to kick away those Monday blues and bring more colours to your life!
Similar to my previous post, I am going to do a review on this palette while using some of these colours to create a makeup for you :)
These are the swatches. They are not extremely pigmented but I'm sure they'll be good enough for your everyday use if you prime your lids with a primer, preferably white base for the colours to show more vividly.
Before I get on to the tutorial, let's start with the review first. NUMBER ONE! I love the packaging! It is really sleek! (living up to its name yeah!) I love the big mirror that comes with it but I dislike the crappy applicator. They have wonderful colours if you're looking to recreate some colourful makeup or even just adding one new colour to spice up your whole look :P

They are so creamy and highly blendable! The texture is so smooth they make blending really effortless. I completed the eye makeup really quick because they blend so well.

Overall, I love this palette though I haven't been using them as much as I wish to but they're really affordable and awesome! You can get this awesome palette here at Luxola.com!

So here's the before and after photo. Ok, not exactly a before-before since I already have CC cream on but yea, the eyes guys, the eyes!
Step 1: Use a white base to make sure the colours will show more vividly. Step 2: Apply a red eyeshadow in the inner corners (this palette do not have red so i used my own).
Step 3 - 7: Apply Strike (bright orange), Bamm (bright canary yellow), Cricket (bright, grassy green), Bolt (bright cobalt blue) and Sugarlite (purple) on your lids while blending each colour carefully so they look like a gradation of colours and not separated colours by themselves.
I applied the last purple shade to my bottom lashline and smudge it out more after I apply my black eyeliner. If you upper lid is long enough for you to put all the colours together, go ahead!
I completed the eye makeup with a black pencil liner and mascara. I like how the focus is on the colours and not the eyeliner that's why I chose a pencil instead of liquid. Liquid eyeliner tend to be more glossy and will most likely be more catchy than the other colours. Lastly, I highlighted the inner corners with Pow (white) and with my Rimmel Scandal eyes nude eyeliner, I lined my lower water line to give illusion of larger eyes. Since there's so much going on on the upper lid, I chose a nude eyeliner for my water line just so it will not steal the lime light away from the rainbow (though rainbow colours are already very eye catchy by themselves)

I hope you enjoy this review and makeup. Will you rock this rainbow eye makeup? I know I'm not crazy enough to go out with this, maybe one day when I dress up for some themed party..heehee

cya!
