Makeup: Dolly Eyes Makeup Tutorial
Another makeup tutorial here for you this week :) Dolly rounded eyes for any events that you're going to attend this year end be it for Christmas Parties, New Year etc.
This shot was taken using my iPhone4S front camera which explains its lousy quality but I was really amazed with how big my eyes looked. heh. I really need a camera that I can flip the screen to the front to take selfie! (自恋 much? haha) I'd like to justify it because of my little hobby of dolling myself up so I have to take pictures to capture the moments otherwise it'd all be wasted.
Here's the before & after for your comparison. You can refer to my current foundation routine post to find out how I did my base makeup. The rest of the things would be included here :)
Step 1: Apply Maybelline Color Tattoo in Pomegranate Punk all over lids smoking it out as you go from the bottom to the top.
Step 2: Using a flat brush, pat Smog from Urban Decay Naked 1 Palette onto the outer corners of your eyes. Make sure you don't cross the middle part.
Step 3: Blend out the edges with Naked from the same Naked Palette with a fluffy brush.
Step 4: Draw your eyeliner on both your water line and lash line with Maybelline's Gel Liner. I just used the brush that was provided when I bought the gel liner. It's perfect.
Step 5: With the remaining product left on the brush, bring it across the lower lash line. Then, use a small detail brush to apply Hustle from Naked Palette from the outer corners of the lower lash line to about 3/4 in.
Step 6: Using Virgin, highlight the inner corners of your eyes and brush some over the brow bone.
Step 7: Lastly, put on some mascara on both the top and bottom lashes and your eyes makeup is done! I used Benefit's they're real mascara and Clinique's Bottom Lash Mascara.
Pop on your favourite lip colour and blusher, you're good to go!
This was how the makeup look after one whole day. Loving the lasting power although some of the makeup has been rubbed off by my itchy fingers but all's good!
You can check out the products I used for this look on Luvocracy
Otherwise, you can get the items from any local Watsons, Guardian and Sephora :)
