SKYMESSX: Wild Honey and TWG
It's been some time since we met. I thought most of us was going to make it but sadly, we have half of them pang-seh-ing us. -.-" Regardless, it was a talkative session first at Wild Honey where we met for lunch. This was their day's special - Israel Florence (???). Serene ordered it because it says Israel! lol
This is a typical English Breakfast which we ordered as a safety net. You cannot go wrong with this.
This was what I ordered - Scandinavian! I love eating salmon and so I always order salmon when I go Wild Honey or any other brunch places/cafes.
We got the waitress to take a photo for us and blehhhh she doesn't know how to use a camera. I mean, doesn't all point and shoot cameras work the same way? Hold it down half way to focus then go all the way to snap. She even asked me which was the button. Common sense please....
Only took this photo of the two of them before we ate. After that was just eat. eat. eat.
We stuck around Wild Honey for quite awhile chatting away. The staff probably came to ask us if we wanted desserts for like 3 - 4 times? hahah... talking about buay paiseh... Eventually we finally got their hint and we left. hah! We walked over to Orchard Central and settled at Maccha House.
It looked quite fun to make your own tea so Sihui and I ordered this set but nehhh...although I prefer hot beverages in a chilly shopping mall, it was way too hot to drink. I kop-ed some ice from serene.
The mochi was so-so only.
After that, Sihui and Jia left to meet their BFs so left me and serene to wander around. We ended up at TWG because both of us had not been there before. We discussed about our tuition venture and ended our day with a pot of black tea.
I'm really enjoying these sweet treats nowadays. I didn't used to like sweet stuffs (after I had braces) mainly because I'm afraid my teeth will ROTTTT!!! I found that it's not true as long as you maintain your teeth well, brushing and flossing regularly is key! And so, I've been eating Strawberry shortcakes from Four Leaves (recommended by my sissy) maybe like once a week for the past two weeks. That's considered quite often because I didn't enjoy eating cakes in the past. (part of the reason why I didn't order cake for my 21st) I guess eating sweet stuff makes me happy :))
So, to make pessimistic me less negative, constant supply of sugar keeps me happy!
