Makeup: From One-Day Old Oily makeup to Autumn Purplish Sweet Night Look
Ever thought of how to change an old makeup that you're wearing for one whole day into another wearable night look without having to remove the whole makeup and redo again? I'm going to show you how to do that today :)
I was out for the whole day with just a very light makeup, basic foundation, filled in eye brows and waterline. I have oily skin which you can see from the bottom left photo that my face is very shiny, part of my brows have also been rubbed off.
Step 1 would be to blot off those excess oils on my face with a piece of tissue paper. What you have to do is just lightly dab it on the face. Take note not to rub or push the tissue paper because it's going to rub off the remaining makeup.
Step 2 would be to start covering and concealing the flaws that became obvious after one whole day. Simply dab it on the problem areas and then spread and blend it carefully with clean fingers.
Next, go over the areas with a pressed powder to set the concealer. Then, apply the highlighter on the bridge of the nose, high points of the cheeks and cupid's bow to make these features stand out. To complete the face makeup, apply some blusher and viola! face makeup is complete.
Moving on to the eye makeup, apply a cream base and here I used Benefit's creaseless cream eyeshadow in r.s.v.p. This cream eyeshadow is highly pigmented and it allows the powder eyeshadow to stick on better.
Next, I used the light purple shade from the Shu Uemura WKW palette as a base colour then I applied the deep purple eyeshadow at the bottom of the eyelid. Then, blend it well with a blending brush. I think MAC's 217 is the best at blending eyeshadow.
Next, I used a plum coloured eyeshadow from my Bobbi Brown palette and applied it on the outer end of my eyelids. Also, I used a pink NYX Jumbo Eye Pencil to highlight the inner corners of my eyes.
Lastly, finish it off with eyeliner and fake eyelashes if you want. As you can see from the top right photo, I had only one eye with fake eyelash and the difference is so big. The right eye looks so fluttery and flirty than the left one.
Finish it off with a lip colour of your choice and we're done:)
I hope you enjoy this deep purple fall makeup look that is wearable and so sweet looking.
