Favourites: September 2013

I'm finally back with my Favourites post! It's been a few months since I posted about stuffs that I've been loving. One thing was because I was really very busy and another thing is that I have not been using anything I like so much that I want to share. So here it is! After months of "no-faves", these are my babies which I use almost every single day.

1. RMK trio palette. I actually wanted to get another one but they ran out of stocks so I bought this. It's a combination of pink, shimmery light brown and dark brown eyeshadows. It is super versatile. You can simply pull off a really casual and chic day look with it in less than a minute. Alternatively, you can also achieve a really sultry and smokey brown eye makeup with it. I love love love this palette. It is small, compact and so portable I've been putting it in my bag and carrying it around.

2. Revlon Just Bitten Kissable Balm stain in 001 Honey Douce has been one of my everyday-go-to whenever I want to put on some colour on my lips. The colour is so pretty and it is so moisturising! I wanted to get more colours but they are very limited in Guardian and Watsons. I want those that were recommended by the youtube beauty gurus!

3. Collection 2000 Lasting Perfection Ultimate Wear Concealer in Medium 3 has made it to my list of one of the best concealers. The coverage is awesome, it stays on and doesn't budge. Dear Yanting helped my buy it from UK and it was so cheap I asked her to buy like 6 of it. I'm so happy I asked her to buy it. It has been in my makeup bag since june :)

4. My last makeup favourite is Benefit's Cha Cha Tint! OMG! I really love this stain so so much! The lasting power is amazing and I really like the orange tint to it. I might want to buy the other colours because this blusher is simply too good to be true. You can double it up as a lip stain as well. It is one of my greatest buys thus far!

5. Vichy Normaderm Tri-activ anti-imperfection hydrating care. I've been using this baby for the past month. It is paraben free and I really quite like the smell of it but R thinks I smell like a guy when I put this on. It comes with a pump so it's more hygenic. I like how it has a matte finish but my face tend to become more oily after a while. I was hoping it can help me minimise my pores and reduce the pimples that I've been occasionally getting every month around my menstruation period but it has not yet. To be fair, I've not used it long enough yet but I quite like it as of now.

6. Hada Labo Super Hyaluronic acid moist eye cream is a new addition to my beauty routine and it is so so moisturising, hydrating and gentle around my eye area. Love it!

7. Vichy Normaderm Facial cleanser. I've been using it with my Clarisonic and I love how it cleans my face so well! My face doesn't feel too tight and I can feel my pores cleared of all those dirt that are stuck inside. Awesome product.

8. Series of Laneige products! The sleeping mask has been my all time favourite mask so far. It is so hydrating I can feel my skin all supple and bouncy after I wash my face in the morning! The other yogurt peeling gel basically works like a scrub / exfoliating facial wash which is gentle and moisturising. I will usually follow up with the pore minimising mask after I exfoliate. This way I feel like I'm closing the gates (my pores) after I remove all those pollutants (dirt stuck in my pores).

9. Last but not least, my new favourite makeup remover by Bioderma! I bought this 500ml one and also another original 500ml one. This one that is at my place is for oily skin and the normal one I left it at R's place. You don't need to wash your face after you remove your make up. It cleanses everything so well! But of course, i'll still wash my face before I sleep.
