Hair of the day: May
Like I mentioned in the previous posts, I'm so so so busy. I barely had any time for myself this May. All my time was spent distributing flyers, hanging around various forums, creating teaching materials etc etc. I'm as busy as a bee. HAHAHAHA!
Anyway, I was thinking maybe I can post some hair of the day photos/ makeup of the day photos here so my blog won't seem so dead. -.-" so sorry. I'm also contemplating to create certain posts in mandarin. Why? I like it like that.
No la...I have always loved CHINESE! In fact, I would say my command of the chinese language is way better than my english language (spoken). I used to emcee for school events, my cousin's wedding, joined some broadcast competition etc etc. But I wonder when all these stopped....I became less and less vocal. I used to be so used to the stage, I wasn't even afraid or feel slightest tinge of nervousness when I was at my peak. Now, :( , I feel so nervous even doing a simple presentation in tutorials (in NUS). Sigh.
I was also intending to apply for a job as a beauty desk writer for 女友 but when they had vacancy, I still had 2 semesters left. So, bye bye to that job. Now, it's just me and my blog. I hope it's going to help me fulfill this dream :)
ok, too much of myself.
I was inspired by Cute Girls Hairstyle on youtube when I recreated this hair for my sister. However, I made it a little more suitable for older girls or even young adults but combining the top of the braids together so that they're not so far apart. What do you think?
These are call textured braids because of the irregular size of each strand. Simply do a 3 strand braid with 1 strand particularly smaller than the other two. Then, just pull out the sides or according to CGH they call it pan cake, and TA DAH! you get the textured braid :)
I tried using my sister's newly bought curler and a slightly centered parting when I went out to meet my girls and "a follower". HAHA! Now, our bfs will all be termed as "follower" LOL. In any case, I really like the effects of the curls. I used L'Oreal Elnett Satin hairspray (new favourite) and the curls held up pretty well through the day.
Lastly, a half braid into a side pony for a hot hot day in Singapore.
I hope your sweat glands are not as active as mine and can leave your hair down nicely. I perspire like instantly when I move out of my shady and cooling house.... :((
