Personal: Eni's Birthday

Eni is our new maid from Indonesia. She is 1 year older than me and has the same birthday as my sister. Such coincidence. We didn't know about it until we asked her. I mean we didn't choose her because of her birthday. 

She has been a great help to us all, especially in taking care of my grandma and also keeping my house clean. I cancelled my tuition and we took her out to dinner at Sakae Sushi. As she comes from a very poor family, she has not really tried any good food. She has never seen sushi before and I could see that she was enjoying every piece of it. 

We got her a cake from four leaves, the all time favorite chocolate with cookies cake. Can't remember the exact name but it's delicious.

It's sad how life can be so different when you are born in different place, to different family even though it's on the same day. But I'm sure she still loves her family dearly, she's been texting her father which is really sweet :)

Just adding in a simple braided updo that I did to fight this crazy hot weather in Singapore. 

It looks complicated but it's really easy to do.
