Makeup: Bye Bye Pimples

Well well...Have you ever been through a massive pimples/blemishes breakout that caught you during special occasions when you need to see/visit many people? Yeah, that's right! ME!!! I've been under serious and incessant attacks by sickening pimples. Lucky for me, I have Makeup Forever products to rescue me!

I bought these two babies just a few weeks back and they have saved me from a hell of trouble explaining to people why I am having so many pimples which I don't know why. So, here I am introducing to you this duo.

Make Up Forever Mat Velvet + and Full Cover Concealer

Look at how bad my skin is. Gosh! I am trying very hard to sleep earlier, eat healthier (not really) and start eating my spirulina again. This is the before photo. Look at how gross the pimples are! The best part is they don't have the white head for me to squeeze them out!

This is the after photo. I don't know if I have mentioned this before but concealing does not help to even out the bump. It will only change the colour to match your skin tone. So, as you can see from below, the bumps are still very visible but thankfully it is not as red anymore. I was hesitant to cover too excessively such that all the redness is gone because it would look really thick. Not that this is not thick but it would be thicker. Heh.

Steps to say goodbye to pimple temporarily for a special event:

1. Apply primer so that your foundation can stay on longer.
2. Apply 1 layer of Makeup Forever Mat Velvet +. This is one of the best foundation I've ever used for oily skin type. It glides on the face and leaves a velvety finish.

3. Apply MUFE Full cover concealer on the troubled spots. Slowly and gently spread the product out by patting it in circular motion going outwards so that you blur the edges to blend it well.

4. Apply your favourite compact powder / loose powder and you're good to go! Byebye pimples!

I have not used the product long enough to provide you with an in-depth review but so far it has served me well, more than well in fact. So, if you're thinking of using these 2 products, I would say, "GO AHEAD!!!"

If you were wondering what happened to my fringe, I braided it. I'm trying to keep it long and it has been getting into my way so I tend to clip it away nowadays.

Thank you for reading! Till the next post :) Bye!

P.s. This post is purely my own review of the products. Everything was bought with my own hard-earned money!
