Hairstyles: Updo for Dinner and Party

 As a professional makeup artist and hairstyle junkie myself, I tend to put in some effort to decide what type of hairstyles I want to have when I attend events. Don't judge. So, as you can see from the previous post I'd actually attended Raymond's NOC dinner which is something like a cocktail party. I thought I shouldn't "throw" R's face so I have to doll myself up (ok, excuses. I just love it)

Basically, the previous night before I flew over to the states, I tried out 2 different hairstyles and asked my mom and sis to give me some opinions since I can't really see the back. Also, I've also decided to have an updo instead of letting my hair down since it's quite a formal event.

I didn't spray to keep them in place as I was preparing to go to sleep after that which explains the many fly aways.

I went ahead with #1 but as most of you should know, no one hairstyle can be replicated 100% so it didn't look exactly the same:)

So it turned out like this! 

Pardon me for the poor quality. I was rushing to get out of the house so I didn't manage to get a proper view of it. But you get the idea. HAHA

I'm just loving my highlights. It simply made any hairstyles pop out!

I will be updating about my trip and my beauty hauls from USA in the next few days and weeks! So excited! Bought so much stuff for myself from head to toe that I love! Pampering myself for graduating successfully! yay!
