Graduation Trip | Santa Con 2012
I'm trying very hard to recall what happened between Santa Con and the first day I arrived. LOL! In any case, Santa Con is an annual event held in San Francisco where many would dress up as Santa and Santarina. They would just pub crawl everywhere in their suits. Pretty amazing to see the number of Santas on the streets despite the rain.
Anyway, I think this photo was taken on the second day. I was waiting for Raymond to end work then accompany him to their NOC's final presentation for Dr Chan whom I found to be a very rude person. Yes, rude. She was using a very annoyed tone to rush the students to finish their presentations quickly. She shot down many of their dreams and ideas without even blinking. She even asked the students if they consider helping out Professors back in NUS who are already researching on something she deemed to be more substantial/technical/SUPERIOR?! Just my 2 cents worth while sitting in. Maybe she has other redeeming points? I don't know. First impression = FAIL!

I'm so grateful that Annabelle lent me her winter wear. This white fluffy hat is hers. So nice right?
If I remember correctly, this should be Day 3. We went out for breakfast then off to Target to buy my luggage as I only brought one over. The new empty one was used to put in my shoppings! Yes! One whole luggage just for my shopping. LOL!
The US portion is once again too crazy for me. I don't even remember eating every single thing on my plate for once during this trip. Maybe once or twice when I ordered pasta which are served in normal portions.
Finally! Santa Con! We were supposed to go to Monterey Bay/ Santa Cruz that day but changed our plans after Jayson told us about this event happening in San Francisco. Here's Hongjing/Beer and Raymond aka Drinking Buddies haha.
The Santas and Santarinas were all so high from alcohol. Just imagine groups and groups of Santas holding beer bottles shuttling from pubs to bars and bars to pubs in the afternoon.
This blond Santarina here told me something really nice even when she's high/drunk. She told me to follow my heart and chase my dreams. Yes! I will! I will not succumb to societal pressure and be stuck in the rat race! (unless I'm really not earning anything which is not true)
Everything that happened after that wasn't photographed since I'm high just by drink 1 Blue moon. LOL! Saved loads of money yo!
We went to Zero Zero for dinner with David and guys. The pastas served were amazing. Absolutely worth a try if you're visiting San Francisco.
