Makeup Tutorial: Just a tinge of blue

Just last week I finally got a chance to get out of Yishun and go shopping with sissy because we had an appointment at Musee @ Scotts Square. So, I decided to make myself pretty before I go :)

First, I tried using my Snail Street Makeup Starter to prep my skin for the makeup. I only used it once so I can't really tell if it's that effective yet. I will, however, do a review once I'm done with the 10 packets that I bought. 

It was very easy to use this Makeup Starter. First, use the green polkadot side to gently exfoliate your face. Then, use the white cotton side to hydrate.

The effects are not bad from this use so far.

So this is the before and after photos.

After I'm done with my base makeup and applying my favourite Urban Decay Eye Shadow Primer Potion, I used my NYX Jumbo Eye Pencil in Cobalt as the base before I apply eyeliner. I wanted something less black and wanted some colours. 

Then, I set the NYX cobalt colour with my MAC Eyeshadow.

Before I apply any visible liner, I applied a creamy black eyeliner pencil on my top waterline and lash line.

I used my gel liner to go over the blue shadows. As you can see from the photo below, the black eyeliner is not as harsh because of the blue undertone. I also dabbed on the MAC blue eyeshadow with an angled brush on the bottom of my lash line.

I purposely left a gap in between the bottom blue eyeliner and my eyes to create the illusion of a slightly bigger eyes. After curling my lashes I applied a generous cost of mascara to finish my eye makeup.

And so, we went for our appointment at Musee where we signed up for IPL :) 

This was probably the one and only Christmas trees we took a photo with.
