Review: Hada Labo SHA Hydrating Lotion

Another product that I have been loving would be the Hada Labo Hydrating Lotion. It's one of my holy grail when it comes to moisturising my face. One drop locks up an ocean! I knew the existence of this product for quite some time but didn't got down to buying and using it until my sister started and recommended. She said it was good for her and I felt like WHY NOT?! So I went to a beauty store and bought my first bottle and WOW! I really love it!

This is how the product looks like itself. It's a watery-gel like substance that glides on your face smoothly! I will usually apply this amount and gently pat it onto my face until all of it is absorbed into the skin. To be honest, I can feel how my skin becomes more supple and hydrated almost instantly. I've tried other drugstore skincare but never once have they felt like Hada Labo's! It's really amazing. The ingredients are really good for your skin. Check them out at Hada Labo's website to get the full insights on how each ingredient works.

I'd tried their facial cleanser which I also love but I haven't bought a new one ever since I finished it. Maybe after I complete my current one, I'll switch back to the Hada Labo which is really hydrating! If you haven't realized, I'm all about hydrating my face. It is very important to provide your skin with enough water so that it doesn't dry up. With the crazy hot and sunny weather in Singapore, you have to make sure your skin is supple and adequately hydrated and moisturized. Otherwise, all the fine lines, wrinkles and rubbish will start to appear. If you're like me, still in your early 20s, you better start your basic facial routine i.e. wash, tone, moisturize. This is the least you can do and if you wish to bring it further, try eye cream and serums. You might also want to exfoliate your skin twice a week to get rid of the dead skin cells so your face looks clean and refreshed.

I was watching Taiwan Beauty Show - Nv Ren Wo Zui Da and one of their Beauty Gurus said that for women's beauty cycle, it's in a 7-years cycle. It means that for every 7 years, you have to switch your beauty routine or add in products that suit that age range. Of course, it's not for kids. I would say that it's never too late to start but it'll be bad if you never start. So for ladies age between 21-27, my age, it's better to focus on keeping your skin hydrated. Once you hit 28-35 range, it's good to start using products that prevents aging. For me, I've already started using but I only use it occasionally, not everyday. Products that prevents aging are too heavy and moisturising for younger skin to use everyday. I only use it when I don't get enough sleep during exam periods or when I party too much (which is unlikely). Also remember to get enough sleep, 7 hours a day! Drink lots and lots of water too!
