Review: Essential Ultra Honey & Shea Butter

NUANCE AIRY

I was using this hair mask from Essential before I went to USA in June and was already addicted to using it because it just moisturizes my hair ends so well. But after I came back I lost that bottle and was simply too lazy to buy a new one since I have another hair mask which I bought from Taiwan. I was just shopping to replenish my Simple Soothing Facial Toner the other day at Venus and I saw this. It was sold at $8+ which I thought was quite reasonable given the effects and quantity. You don't have to use a large amount because the product is very rich and thick.

They have two different types of butter, one is this and another one is the Rich Premier. I have very soft and flat hair, unfortunately, so I like to user products that can give my hair some lifts instead of weighing it down from bottom. This hair butter is simply awesome in doing what it is supposed to. It helps to keep split ends at bay. I like to dye, tong, perm, straighten, blow dry etc etc my hair quite often which resulted in very dry ends but I have oily scalp. This would mean that I have to wash my hair very often which would mean that it strips the natural hair oils that's good for my hair off. So, I'll use this twice a week to replenish the moisture my hair needs.

I've yet to try other brands yet but this has been working really well for me. PLUS! It's affordable. I do use other hair products like leave-in conditioner, hair oils and etc on a daily basis. This is somewhat like a deep conditioning for my hair. It smells really sweet and nice too. I would usually use it after I wash my hair. After I towel dry my hair, I would apply a reasonable amount of this product onto my hair ends and I make sure all my hair is applied. Then, I would wear a shower cap to keep the moist and warmth inside. I feel that the products seep into the hair follicles so much faster when you cover with a shower cap. I would wash it off about 5 minutes later.

If you face the same problems like me, i.e. soft and flat hair, oily scalp and dry ends. Try this product! And if you face other problems like tangled hair and etc, you might want to give Rich Premier a try. I used to use their Nuance Airy Anti-frizz serum which I have stopped ever since I started using Organix Moroccan Argan Oil. Essential's serum just smells nice but the effects are not lasting. I might do a review on the Moroccan Argan Oil in the future but there are other products which I'll be doing a review on. So be sure to check this page out if you want to know what products are worth buying or not.

Ciao!
