Makeup Tutorial: Cat Eyes and Red Lips

Classic cat eye and red lips makeup

I recently just bought this red romper from Lovebonito.com and was very inspired to create a look that suits this outfit. So here it is, a short pictorial tutorial on how to get this chic look :D

This is the Before and After.

I did my base makeup for the photo on the left and filled in my brows for the photo on the right.

For my eyes, I used a black pencil eyeliner to draw on my upper lash and waterline and on the right photo, I extended a little wing as shown. Then, just use a black liquid liner to thicken the liner and make it more obvious.

I used a brown shadow in my crease to create some dimension and depth so that my eyes don't look too puffy. I also added a shimmery white eyeshadow on the inner corner of my eyes. I highlighted my brow bone and nose bridge with the same shimmery eyeshadow as well.

To create a lasting red lips, first use a lip liner to outline the lips then fill it in with the pencil.

Lastly, put on your favourite red lipstick to get that ultimate red lips ^^

I wanted my eyes to look more fluttery but not too exaggerating at the same time. So, after applying coats of mascara, I put on a small section of faux eyelashes on the outer corners of my eyes. It gives the eyes a totally different feel, more attractive, I would say. In addition, I dabbed on the brown eyeshadow with a small brush on the outer corners of my under eyes going almost 2/3 into the inner corners.
