Personal: Wedding makeup and hairstyling

Hello! I'm back with a new post! This time round I'm the one who attended the wedding instead of making someone else pretty to attend the wedding:) It was my cousin's wedding last Friday and I made myself pretty, my mother pretty, my sister pretty, my little cousins a bit pretty (they are too young to put full makeup) I love having these valid excuse to put makeup and do my hair:)

Makeup

So, this is my close-up look. I had a smokey eye makeup which I didn't want to exaggerate it too much since it's not my wedding, I'm just attending it.

My camera wasn't able to capture the colours but I had dark purple, light pink undertone, some silver (which is visible).

I did the makeup and hair for my sister as well but I took this photo with iphone so the quality wasn't that good. She had a brown smokey eyes.

Hair

I did my mom's hair only as she rather play with her phone instead of sitting still for makeup. And throughout the time when I was doing her hair, she couldn't keep her hands and eyes off her phone because of some stupid game.

For my sister, I curled her hair ends inwards and a looped pony with fishtail braid.

For myself, I just did a one-sided braid and hid it under my hair. I curled my hair early in the afternoon so I can get this big curls effect. I thought it looked quite classy. It easy to DIY as long as you know how to braid.

So, what else can you do other than taking photos at a wedding? My sister and I just kept taking photos before the food was served. And, after the food was served,we just kept eating.
