The Walking Dead Season 3 Episode 3

After watching the latest episode of The Walking Dead just few hours ago, I'm already "itching" to watch the next one. In this episode, Walk With Me, it started with a recap of how Daryl's brother saw off his own hands (in season 1) to escape. At first, I was like what? Is this the wrong episode? But it went back to shots from season 3 shortly.

Then, there's the scene of 3 military pilots calling may day may day and tahhhh it crashed in to the forest which attracted Andrea's and Michonne's attention from afar. They went over to check out what happened but was stopped by approaching vehicles. They hid behind the bushes to observe and the 2 poor walker minions of Michonne were tied to a tree.

They did not dare to show themselves after seeing the group of man (above) stab the dead soldiers. (they didn't know that people will turn no matter how they die, bitten or not) Not long after, they were discovered by Merle while Andrea fainted. She was still sick and coughing away. I wonder why they didn't hear her coughs -.-"

Their weapons were confiscated and Andrea received medical treatment at Woodbury. It's like a community here at Woodbury, people are working and the men are keeping the people safe within the area.

Woodbury's leader, also known as the Governor, introduced the place to the ladies and it was quite a peaceful scene which is very rare in Walking Dead. People are protected and everything felt really safe.

They had their own rooms with clean clothes and hot water for shower - that's like a WOW at this time.  Remember how they all took hot showers at the CDC which caused the electricity to run out? It's a luxury! However, they're always guarded. Michonne was still skeptical about everything, basically throughout the whole show she was pulling a long face.

They were taken on a tour around the place which was bustling with life. People are smiling and living normally. It was a very heartwarming scene after all the loneliness and despair out on the roads. It feels like when they first got to the farm in season 2.
After finding out where the remaining soldiers were with their foods and weapons. The Governor made an empty promise saying that he will bring them back. He killed all of them by tricking them. Also, he was working with this scientist (i believe), Milton, to study Michonne's walker minions. They were surprised why she kept the walkers with her. It was found that their removed arms and jaws made them lose the interest in eating and hence did not attack Michonne. They also acted as a repellent so that the girls look "blended in" with the other walkers. This is somewhat similar to what they did in season 1 where all of them smeared the dead's blood and body parts on their body to disguise as one of the dead.

The Governor was constantly trying to find out more about the people Andrea was with before she parted with them. Michonne still pulling a long face.... ahaha. He was definitely up to no good. I bet he's going to do something like what he did to the soldiers.
He lied to the people in Woodbury saying that the soldiers were already taken down by the zombies and left all the trucks with food and weapons.

I'm rather irritated by the last scenes of walking dead as it always leave you hanging. This episode's was how the Governor was resting in his arm chair enjoying the view of an aquarium of walkers' heads including the minions and the military pilot.

Seriously? I have a feeling that he's doing this killing thing just to protect his community but I have no idea why he saved Daryl's brother, Merle. Maybe he needed men back then?

The preview/sneak peek for episode 4 showed how the gates broke open and all the walkers started pouring into the prison. I thought it was going to be a safe haven for Rick's group at least for a few episodes. However, I'm enjoying the actions and killings this season. Getting more and more exciting again like season 1. To be honest, I wasn't that excited about season 2 when it was airing as there wasn't much zombie killings and more of looking for Sophia and people falling sick, getting shot....

This season is totally different. All of them are more "garang" and are going all out to kill the walkers. Even Carl was so good at shooting. I have a feeling he likes Maggie's sister. (heehee)

Overall, this episode was not bad even without any scene on Rick and gang. A fresh change and I look forward to the interactions between Rick and the Governor. Both are super Alpha. Excited much!

That's all! Ciao!
