New hair!

I got a new haircut from Toni&Guy Academy on Monday. I don't really think it looks very nice maybe because it took me a long time to have such long hair and now it's back to mid length. I'm not really unhappy since my hair will still grow out. Oh well, I'm going to dye my hair next week along with a scalp treatment. The trainer at the academy recommended that I go for scalp treatment every 2 months since I have oily scalp. I hope it helps.

This is the teaching/practical area that I had my hair cut. I sat there from 10am-1230pm. It was so tiring just by sitting down.
The trainer used the mirror as a whiteboard to teach the trainees how to differentiate face shapes and features.
I think these are the 3 different ways hair are cut. Not sure what they meant but the trainer drew it so fast like he has drawn it a million times before.
One last proper four strands braid before I get my haircut. I recently found another way to do the 4 strands braid! excited! too bad i can't do on my hair anymore. pleaseeee growww fasterrrr!!!!

Then again, I have to point out that the service provided was awesome (by the trainer when he was demonstrating the way to conduct a consultation with the client). It's really different from the kind of service you get from those normal salons. The constant eye contact made me more assured. Maybe that's why I agreed to cut to this length. I didn't expect so much to be snipped off.

With this length, it's quite hard for me to do any hairstyle properly on my own since it's shorter. I always find it easier to play with longer hair. Luckily it's free.....since the trainer took over and Jared the hairstylist-in-training told me the trainer is an Art Director for one of the outlets, the price is about $118 to have a haircut by director! In a way, it was worth it? I guess.

Wanted to show you guys the effects of the Maybelline mascara that I was raving about. My lashes actually becomes visible with it! I have lashes that point straight down so I have to curl it everyday. tsk. I've thought of going for extension but I don't know if it'll look too fake. I don't mind putting on fake eyelashes once in a while though.

I used flash for the last two photos so I looked quite oily but it's because foundation with SPF is not a good friend with flash photography. But this is how it looks when my eyes are open. I used my new Wet n Wild Petal Pusher palette and my all time favourite Urban Decay's Naked Palette :)

It's supposed to be purplish color in front becoming darker blending into brown but yeaaaa I don't have a DSLR so it can't really capture and reflect the colour accurately. However, this look is absolutely wearable on a daily basis. It's very easy to do as well. I did not apply eyeliner on my eyelids as you can see from the photo. I only applied it to my lashline so that my lashes look fuller. I didn't want to overdo it since I was only going to school. Better than just a dull black line across right?! hahahah

I just watched the recent episode of gossip girl and there are so many new hairstyles that I want to recreate! :(( My hairrrrrr.....
 Lily's sleek updo, very classy

Blair's side down do with braids.
I'm so sad, I don't think I can pull off this hair with my current length. Oh, my hair, please grow fasterrrrrrrrr!!!!!!!!!

Come to think of it, I change my hairstyle quite often. If you're interested, you can check out my old hairstyles, at least 1 new one per year since 2009!
