Hairstyles for school and ramblings as a student

Just a little update on my progress for the hairstyles suitable for school that are easy to DIY and also some ramblings by me as a student. To think that I'm no longer going to be a full time student in less than 3 months is both exciting and frightening. 

Why?

1. I can throw all the mundane readings, textbooks, lecture notes and whatnots out of the window without thinking!!!! WHEE!!!!

2. I have to become an adult(work, think of money all the time.......). WHAT?! 

In any case, despite my super busy schedule (millions of readings and assignments, stupid girl, who ask you take all full CAs modules together?!) I managed to squeeze in some time to tie my hair. Ya, I had to squeeze in the time because I'm lazy and I have so many other things to do. But, this is my passion so I don't find it a nuisance like studies. Oops :X Talking about studies.....have you heard about the abolishment of the secondary school banding? IMO, I think it's a redundant move. Not like there are no other ways that people can rank the schools right? Just trying to show that they're working? I'm not sure. Ok, I digress. Maybe I will do a post on this.

Week 5

This is from the front. Looks like I put on a hairband right? heehee. 

This is a knotted hairstyle which is supposed to be nicer if I have eyes behind. OOPS. Just lazy to use the mirror la. HOHO! It's seriously easy a well. You can actually knot all the way down, the effect would be so different. I tried on a client before but I tucked the tail in and it looks so classy. But if your hair is more layered that mine, you would have to spray some hairspray to tame the fly aways. I'm just, again, lazy to do it cause I'm always rushing out. 

Week 5

This is how it looks from the front if you choose to leave the ends like a ponytail:)

Instead of a boring ponytail, why not spice it up with a simple braid? If you can tie a simple ponytail and do normal braid, you can do this in < 3 mins!

Week 4

Another braided headband but of a different style. I didn't do this for school. If you read my post on Wild Honey where I went on my brunch date with JY, you would have seen this.

Week 3

 I wouldn't deny this is more difficult compared to the first one. Maybe 5 mins if you're good at braiding:)

It's really crazy nowadays with back-to-back tuitions and back-to-back lectures and tutorials. I will always tend to be late for either one and I had to walk a lot! I hate how the bus stops are not near the places I'm going to. Or that the waiting time is always crazy or just too packed to squeeze up. I also want to act like an auntie and squeeze with the rest but you know, kiasu nus students.....SO FREAKING A LOT OF THEM! can't even managed to squeeze up Bus D after 3 of them gone. Sad right? 

NM2217 tutorial is one of my most dreaded tutorial cause you really have to do stuff there. Unlike NM2210 which is so super lepak. HAHA! But I think NM2217 is definitely more fun whilst being tedious and troublesome.

While waiting for my next lecture, camwhored a bit with my Photo booth! heehee. Looks like it's time for me to cut my bangs....

I was trying so hard for the wind to blow my hair to get those wind-blow effect but only some strands moved. BOO!

Loving this effect:) It conceals all the imperfections on my face! HAHA

I have been skyping with R so often I feel so loved! YAY! I love SKYPE! haha! People in LDR, please Skype more often k? 

We even caught a movie via Skype together. It was great though the movie sucks. It's the company that matters! I miss those times when we would lay in bed and watch so many shows and movies together. I didn't used to cherish those moments until I can't have it. So glad that it's all going to be over soon!
