Brunch Date with JingYi ^^

Just this wednesday we went to Wild Honey to have our weekly brunch which we missed last week because she was working as a retail assistant which she quit after 1 week. -.-"

I've never been to Wild Honey though I know of it and so many people had been telling me how good it is. Indeed, it was YUMMY! I was so disappointed when I went to Riders' Cafe but Wild Honey is different! The ambience is good and the food is super delicious. 

Jingyi overslept as usual. We were supposed to meet at 11am or 1130am, I can't remember. But she was still sleeping at that time when I called to wake her up cause she didn't reply my message which was sent at around 1030am. I'm so lucky I was still at home as I sensed something was wrong when she didn't reply me. But she's not the first one who was late when they were supposed to meet me. All my secondary school friends are known to be late-comers. I remember waiting for Serene at Yishun MRT for 1.5hours. Seriously?! I wonder where my patience came from.

Jingyi ordered Tunisian, basically it's baked tomatoes with eggs and meat (idk what meat) and the bread was WOW! SO NICE! That dish was very flavourful, you can literally taste the mixture of flavours bursting in your mouth like fireworks when you put it in. SO SHIOK!

I ordered Norwegian Benedict which was twice the price of what I had at Riders' Cafe but the quality of it is more than twice of RC. The smoked salmon (my fav fish) was so nice and there was a lot of it. Totally worth the money. The poached eggs were to beautifully cooked and the asparagus were very fresh. I especially love the avocado and bread combination. I don't know how to describe the feeling but the combination is amazing. One thing bad was that the serving size was so huge, I can't finish :(

We asked the staff from Wild Honey to take a picture for us and I think she's the boss. She stood there like-a-boss. haha!

After that we went to Far East Plaza for me to get rid of my ugle gelish manicure which was bothering me a lot since half of it already dropped off. The manicurist was a PRC and she was really funny. Apparently, there was a lesbian couple before me who were there for manicure and she asked the "guy" how come she doesn't want to apply color when she already told her to put a transparent coat. Her colleague was reprimanding her for asking that question when the couple left. It was so funny because my manicurist was really clueless. HAHAHAHA!!!

We walked around to find cheap salon but found none. So, JY decided not to cut her hair that day. We went to ION Orchard after that to have dessert. The Marmalade Pantry! (so equals to we went last week lol)

 She ordered Sticky Date pudding which was recommended by Ladyironchef and it was really good!

I was quite full and didn't want to eat much so I thought I can just order a cake since how big can a slice of cake be right? but NO!!!!!!!!!!

It was HUGEASS BIGGGG CHOCOLATE FUDGE CAKE! I didn't finish it in the end as well. What's new?

It's this kind of simple meals and outings that are helping me pass my weeks and days now. School has been crazy and I'm going mad soon with all the assignments. Only managed to squeeze in some time to blog because I will really die if I continue reading. Wrong move to take all full CA modules this semester. It's so tiring. Just hope that time will fast-forward to week 13 and I'll be free from readings and lectures! Week 4 is starting in a few hours and I really dread it! Time, it's either you stop or fast-forward, please. 

I miss my boy so much! September, October, November, December and I can see him! Please please please don't come up with anymore stunts to stay overseas longer. I hate LDR! Why can't airplane tickets be $1 or $50 or $100? Why must it be $2399?!?!
