The end of my holidays...
Hello NUS (again),
School has started today but Monday is my free day so I ended up shopping with my sister at Sembawang shopping centre (SSC). I spent quite some money today. Splurged my hard-earned money at Watsons, Daiso and Popular. I know, such a boring person. But I'm happy with my loots!
This semester I'm only taking 4 core modules. Not like I take 5 in other semesters. To be honest, when I confirmed my transfer from FoS to FASS, I've decided to extend one semester and hence I took it easy and only took 4 modules per semester. Lazy like that.
I'm taking NM2210, NM2216, NM2217 and NM3219. They are Interactive Media Design: Theory/Users/Creating and Writing for Communication Management respectively. Though I'm a communication major, I think I suck at writing. Somehow, I just lack that flair. Certain people can just write like it's flowing out of them so so naturally. Some people I know who can write like that....Raymond Yang (of course!) and Serene! Gifted and Awesome writers.
To be honest, I'm really quite scared of taking these modules. I mean, DESIGN?!, I can't design for nuts. I do try but the creativity is just not there. Too bad I really have no other choices left. Not everyone is gifted with creativity. Definitely not me! I just hope I can get pass this semester safely. Wish me LUCK!
As most of you know, I am working as a part-time tutor where I provide private tutoring services to students from Primary and Secondary schools. I am very happy with this job and am looking into turning full-time when I graduate. It's flexible and less taxing. You will only work with 1 student at a time which I think I can help him/her focus more within the short but intense 1.5 - 2 hours. My students are all doing quite well with both of my current Sec 3 students clinching 4th in level for their Secondary 2 examinations. Now, one of them even top her A-Math MYE recently. Most of them improved significantly if they really follow my instructions and do the work I assigned. Only those who refuse to give up "game-time" for some work are lagging behind. They still improved but not a lot. As long as they do better, I'm contented. That's what I'm there for.
I'm also currently venturing into my makeup artist business. I'm fortunate and happy to be working with Annabelle, one of my seniors when I learn makeup from Sandy. She is a very friendly and nice lady. Of course, more experienced in this makeup industry than me.

We are sponsoring NUS Engin Bash 2012 and just had a photo shoot last Saturday at Pixal Culture. It was a very fun and quick session. I added in the 2 girls whom I did the makeup for. I did the makeup for 3 other guys as well but did not take any photo.
For more photos of this shoot, visit btsmakeup.blogspot.sg. The professional photos will also be up as soon as the organiser sends me the photos.
I would also be having our own photo shoot this coming Sunday! Excited! I would like to thank Yiting, HuiJuan, Beier and Dionne for agreeing to be my models. I hope we can create more fun and pretty looks on the 19th.
Just a random collage that I made with an app I downloaded from app store. Visit out blog for the makeup portfolio.
I know it might be quite repetitive to post here and at the other makeup blog but this personal blog sort of records my life. I would like to include as many things as I can remember.
I went out to eat quite a few times during the last days of my holidays (haha) and enjoyed these food trips a lot. Not just the food but the company:)
Recently, I always have craving for sweet stuff and I actually bought Bakerzin's macaroons!

It was better than the ones I tried at the Chocolate Buffet at Fullerton Hotel. Bakerzin FTW~
Before I forget, I had been meeting up with my secondary school gang quite frequently recently. Always happy to meet up with them with the few "jokers" who never fails to lighten up the mood and make everyone laughs. We went to eat Swee Choon a few weeks back. I had been reading about it on famous bloggers' blog but haven't got down to try. It was affordable but there are definitely better Dim Sum out there.

Photos from Langston's Instagram. I was too busy eating. ^^
Yesterday we went to a zi-cha place at Kovan to eat crabs! 3 small crabs for $20 only! We were all so focussed eating the crabs that we hardly talked to each other.
Then off to desserts at The Dessert Story which was nearby.
Lovely Jingyi accompanied me to Maybelline's event at Zouk last Wednesday. Poor girl was suffering in her killer heels. Bought the Mascara which they will be launching in Sg soon.
Lastly, this month is my 3rd anniversary with Raymond! Thank you for the flowers:) They're beautiful!

Went to Arbite at Serangoon gardens with my sister. I was always there with Raymond and we always had their all day breakfast. They were good but I wanted to try something else. I also found out that there's nustyle there where NUS students can get 1-for-1 beer.

Next, mahjong at my place which I did not win or lose. The last round saved my ass from losing 80 cents. haha!!!
OH! I changed my specs as well. I used to wear those that are of smaller frames which makes my face look really big. This pair is big but creates the illusion of me having a smaller face. haha!
Costed me a bomb (to me), never had I spent so much on a pair of glasses before. But I'm loving it so much!

GOODNIGHT! <3 p="p">
