Brunch Date with Jingyi Part 1

Jingyi and I will be visiting different "famous" / "popular" restaurants for the next few weeks until she flies back to UK. Today, we visited Riders Cafe at 51 Fairways Drive. It's quite easy to get to if you drive. I don't know about public transport (I doubt?)

Heard quite a number of people talking about this particular cafe's breakfast and the ambience etc. There were also people who told us that their standard has dropped. Nonetheless, we wanted to give it a try since both of us haven't been there before.

We ordered 2 different breakfast set so we can share. The one on the left is Riders Breakfast - The usuals with sunny side up and Jingyi ordered Eggs Benedict.

It looks quite appetizing from the picture but in fact the taste and texture were so-so. I expected much more. I would say Hatched has better ones but then again, the last time I went to Hatched, I came back disappointed as well.

This is The Usuals. It's $16 which I don't understand why is it so expensive since it's so easy to make this breakfast set at home. Too bad they didn't have eggs done over-easy which I miss so much (IHOP's eggs were so good!) Overall, I would only rate it 2.5/5.

There were so many pigeons around which were quite irritating and annoying as they just kept flying all over the place.

We should be visiting Wild Honey next week and probably The Marmalade Pantry which is beside Riders Cafe the week after.
