My USA makeup hauls:)

(Check out the end of this post for a makeup service promotion). As mentioned before, I will blog about my makeup products haul from the States. I have to admit, I literally went crazy when I shopped for makeup products there. They're all so cheap in comparison to those sold in Sg. 

Smashbox foundation, Revlon foundation, Maybelline Mineral powder, Maybelline Age Rewind concealer

I haven't tried the Smashbox's foundation yet since my Makeup Forever's foundation still have about 1/4 left. But I've tried Smashbox's other products which I am very fond of. The quality is fantastic but it's really quite expensive here in Sg. I bought the Maybelline Mineral Powder to try out as I've not used any Mineral products before. So far so good:) I especially love the instant Age Rewind dark eyecircles concealer which I'd already introduced in the previous post where I did a makeup tutorial. It's coverage is awesome and it is very affordable. Might get R to buy back for me:)

Smashbox photo finish foundation primer, L'oreal Magic Perfecting Base, Urban Decay Eyeshadow Primer

This is the smashbox product that I'm talking about when I said I used some of their other products before. I have not used up my current one hence this is still new. It covers the pores really well. As I have oily skin, especially around the nose area, the pores there are relatively bigger. With this primer, I can hardly see the pores. However, I would use the oil control primer more as my face gets really oily just 2 hours after applying my makeup.

Next, it's the L'oreal Magic Perfecting Base which is a drugstore brand=cheaper. It is definitely a good choice if you are tight on budget. To me it works as well but the smashbox one is definitely better (IMO). What you pay is what you get, you see. Also, since the L'oreal's one comes in a pot, i find it rather dirty to always stick my finger in. I'd rather have the tube kind. But, overall, it's still a good alternative to the Smashbox's one if you prefer drugstore brand. 

Lastly for this photo, URBAN DECAY'S EYESHADOW PRIMER!!!! Loving this product so so so much. It prevents the eyeshadow from creasing and allows the color to show more vividly and stays longer. Definitely worth for the money! Seriously, what more can I say about it. If you're an avid youtube audience like me, you would know that so many makeup gurus there are raving about this. :) 

Urban Decay Long-lasting Makeup Setting Spray, Oil Control Makeup Setting Spray

This is the first time I'm trying makeup setting spray which I have not used them enough to give any reviews yet. Similarly, so far the experience for me is not bad. Will try a few more times before I comment. 

L'oreal Lineur Intense in Brown and Black

I've always loved L'oreal liquid liner and this one is really MEGALOVE! The Black colour is so intense and the tip of the applicator makes it so easy to apply. Great buy :)

Revlon Color Stay Lip Liner

I've not gotten the chance to try this out yet but judging from the lip sticks that I owned from Revlon, this should be equally awesome!!!

Sephora eyelash curler and assorted makeup brushes

All these are still brand new as well but i did try the feeling of the brushes on my skin and they are really soft and comfy. 

Victoria's Secret Beauty Rush Lip Gloss

This is like one of my cheapest buys from the States (for makeup). To be honest, the VS's products were on sale so I do not know their actual price at all. Especially their lingerie! I almost couldn't leave the shop. Furthermore, the designs are so sexy and colours are so vibrant! Why no VS in sg :( 

Urban Decay Heavy metal glitter eyeliner

I had the silver color one which I bought in Sephora Sg to try out and the effect was like WOW~! So freaking nice! Thus, when I stepped into Sephora in the States........Urban Decay section was the first one I rushed to. Awesome:)

Duo eyelash adhesive, Sally Hansen No More Mistakes Manicure Clean-up Pen, Sephora sponge

I have not tried the Sally Hansen's one as can be seen, it is still nicely packaged. Same for the other two. Hee. Wait till I try it, I'll probably do a review about it. 

Urban Decay Naked 2 Palette

yay yay yay yay yay!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I've been wanting to get this palette for the longest time! It's so expensive here which made me "heart-pain" when I bought Naked palette. That's why when they launched the Naked 2 palette, I waited till I go to the States.

On a side note, I'll be receiving my Mac Book Air by next Monday! So excited. My very happy HP lappy (as I named it in yr1) has been handicapped since the start of this year. First the battery died on me. Then the charger spoilt. Damnnnn I have to share the charger with my sister which means I don't get to use it most of the time. Now, I'm blogging on my Mom's laptop. Either way I'm happy it's arriving soon:) Can't wait. 

Also, someone requested that I do a tutorial on the waterfall braid that I had in the previous post. hmmm... should I do a video one or take pictures. Let me think about it before I jump into this. But I'm still happy that someone likes it! :D 

My life has been rather exciting with me being a maid trainer in the day, tuition teacher in the evening and crazy party girl in the night. ok, not all the nights, only one or two. But I'm loving this kind of carefree life! I'm also starting a little makeup business with my friend Annabelle Teo!
