Travelogue 8 - Universal Studios Hollywood
After locking ourselves out of the airbnb room for the first night, after a feast of korean bbq at Korean Town @ LA, after a long night of sleep and after some other suay shitttt...R woke up on the wrong side of the bed and I became his "vent-your-anger-machine" :( Luckily he apologised after. It was rather scary.
We had brunch at Panda Express which R was raving about but it turned out to be so-so only.
I'm loving these fortune cookies given at Chinese Restaurants though it wasn't traditional in chinese countries.
After lunch, we are off to Universal Studios!!!!!!!!!!!!!
First attraction we went to and wrong choice. I'm such a humji! I got so scared, I closed my eyes and hid under R's arms all the way. haha!
R was just so amused with how afraid I was and kept laughing all the way.
We went to watch the water show after all the scares and crazy stuff.
Took the studio tour which lasted for 60 minutes. It was an awesome ride. Though we didn't get into the studios but the fake buildings around really seemed very familiar.
Seriously, looks so real right? But it is just a mural painting.
We took a photo with the photo-taking machine and it actually records down the photo-taking process. It was super funny. HAHAHA
We queued for more than 1 hour just to get onto the Transformers 4D ride which was awesome but there were technical errors on our first ride. It stopped in the middle of the ride and we were stuck inside the tunnels or whatever it is called.
After we got off the ride, the crew was like saying things like, 'the password is Delta' x10 times. We did not know what it was for but just went back to the entrance to ask about it. When the person asked the group of family in front of us what was the password, they were stumped. R just said Delta like a boss and we got to take another ride without queuing! YAY! It felt super real when machine/car reverse during the ride.
We went to have cheap dinner at fast food restaurants, not very cheap but cheapest there already!
We watched MIB III 3D there and the experience was awesome, or is it because of the company :)
Ok, the exciting parts of my USA trip has already been blogged. Will fill in the gaps that were in between and make a videos out of all the videos I took along the trip.
Hopefully R's meeting will be over soon. They're quite inefficient. Talking about crap.
I should be in the air already when this post is up. heehee. Hello Singapore!!!!!!!!
