Travelogue 5 - Grand Canyon

Grand Canyon!

We visited Grand Canyon last week and the views was breath-taking. I am a girl who grew up in cities with buildings and skyscrapers around me but nothing can compare to Mother Nature. It was a totally awesome trip down to these National Parks in the States. Even the drive down was a really scenic one:)

 We rented a car from Avis at Las Vegas Airport and off we go!

 How many people can actually stand in the middle of a highway/expressway and take a photo! We did! Cool shit!

 After a long 4 hrs plus drive, we finally arrived at Grand Canyon! The entrance fee for per vehicle is US$25.

I happened to find that we can actually take a photo of our reflection and we did! Other people followed suit. haha! trend-setter yooo

 One of the visitors there volunteered to take a picture for us. So helpful and friendly right?! We actually got quite a number of our couple shots with the help of super friendly Americans:D So thankful to have these nice people around. (rarely happen in Sg, smth is wrong)

He was doing his emo-shot but this is not so emo. You will get a lot more of his sigature-emo-shot when I blog about the Yellowstone trip. He's super in love and obsessed with getting emo-shots, even at dangerous places.

 After walking around park for a while, we decided to leave the park cause it's another 1.5 hrs drive to Flagstaff? I can't remember. Just remember the motel sucksssss - American Best Value Inn. Don't go!

Will be heading to San Diego Zoo (From movie - We Bought A Zoo) later. heehee. so excited! Got to go wake that pig up. Ciao!
