Black&Gold

The last time I did this with my sister. This time round, she became my photographer. I am a lousy model. I can't seem to get the correct facial expression. Probably because my ankle was hurting in that pair of heels. Left ankle, when will you fully recover? :(

This look is inspired by Emma Watson's look at Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows - Part 2 Premier at NYC. Of  course, I changed it to suit me better. I have not tried this kind of make up before as it is rather smoky and I wouldn't wear it out unless I go clubbing (maybe next time). It is edgy, youthful and has a tinge of "rocker" feel to it.
My fringe is quite short, thus I can't make the bump in front bigger :( But if you have longer fringe, you can definitely pull off this look better than me.
It was tough trying to get the photos right. I can't pose for nuts!!!!!

Was asking my sister what's the kind of pose ANTM does, she asked me to lift up my head so that you can see the neck. LOL
I look as if I'm selling the bangles and modelling with it.

Make up products that I used to complete this look:
Face - Laura Mercier Foundation Primer; Makeup Forever Professional Liquid Foundation; Dior Snow Light Veil in Ivory; The Body Shop Bronzing Powder; Naturactor Concealer 151; Shu Uemura Eyeshadow in Metallic Sparkling Snow White.
Eyes - Etude House Pudding Dia Shadow in Gold; Urban Decay Naked Palette in Creep and Gun metal; Shu Uemura Eye Shadow in Sparkling Gold & Metallic Black; Urban Decay Heavy Metal Glitter Eyeliner; Lancome Eyeliner Pencil in Black Ebony; Shu Uemura Eyebrow Pencil.
Lips - MAC Matte Lipstick in Delectable; Revlon Lipstick in Soft Nude.

I wouldn't have stepped into this line if not for Raymond's encouragement and my mother's support. I was hesitant at first because this is not the typical job that a degree holder should be having (not like i've grad, but soon). I should be sitting in an office working from 9am-5pm everyday etc etc. But I realised that I am not those who can be stuck in a mundane cycle after working part-time. It drives me nuts! I need to interact with people, not papers and computers. That's why I enjoy giving tuition as well. I love talking to my students, getting to know them, try to understand what they are going now, whether they have gf/bf etc etc. They often sought advices from me as well which makes me feel like I'm old. DAMN!

Ok, I digress. Same as the last time, give me your feedbacks, good or bad. I want to improve. If you're willing to be my model, tell me! I am in need of models! Thanks! Love you!

I especially love the last shot where you stood beside the quote. Powerful & elegant - the picture says it all.
